Weekly Vote: Your Poker Career In 2008?
Another year has passed, so it's time to draw the line and do the math: did our poker career give us some cash? Did we lose money this year? Let's see how good (or bad) 2008 was for your poker career by voting in this year's first weekly poll.
2008 is a thing of the past now, it's time to focus on the new year and most of you probably started with some resolutions already. However, before we think about 2009, let's take a look back at the year that just passed and see how our poker careers went.
It was recently posted here that our PokerStrategists had a pretty good year, with the top 10 winnings going over the $2 million mark. They proved that anyone can be good at poker, as long as they study, play hard and have a lot of discipline - maybe some of the ones we mentioned are reading this, in which case "Congratulations"!
However, many other members have managed to win several other smaller tournaments, cashing in a nice amount of money - which is why we encourage you to post your career successes in the Our Successes forum. Also, if we look at our members' Poker Blogs, we see that most of them had a pretty good year.
What about the rest of you? How was 2008 for you in terms of poker? Did you win a lot of money from poker? Maybe you barely won something or ended up break even but you learned a lot? No matter what happened, tell us how your poker career went by voting in this week's poll: Your Poker Career In 2008?
Last time we were all deep in the holiday season, which is why we asked you what your plans for Christmas were. According to the votes, most of you decided the best way to spend that time was at home, surrounded by your family.
The following graph shows you the detailed results for last week's poll:
