We all manage to create our own poker schedule and divide it into two major parts: studying, which means reading articles, watching videos or joining coaching sessions and playing, which is where we put what we learned into practice.

Some of you might focus on the theoretical aspect, so that you will not be taken by surprise when you are at the tables. Others might think practice makes perfect, so they invest more of their poker time into the actual playing. Of course, there are also players who try to divide these two main poker parts into two equal shares.

What about you? If you were to draw the line and observe the way you divided your poker time so far, where would you fit in? Are you more of a student, a player or you simply managed to go 50-50? Last week we tried to make a poker successes round-up and we asked you how 2008 was for you from this point of view. It was recently posted here
that our PokerStrategists had a pretty good year, with the top 10
winnings going over the $2 million mark. They proved that anyone can be
good at poker, as long as they study, play hard and have a lot of
discipline - maybe some of the ones we mentioned are reading this, in
which case "Congratulations"!

Judging by the results, most of you (67%) have had a pretty good year, but you still consider there is room for improvement - which is why we are here. A combined 25% had either an uneventful poker year or not as good as they expected, while the remaining 8% are very happy with their performance.
