Community Round-up: Dealer Reader and Mission Philippines

That's a first in 2011! We now have our new unofficial dealer reader who can predict what cards will be revealed on the following streets (unofficially works only in NLHE for the moment). On the other side of the PokerStrategy.com globe, five PokerStrategists have embarked on Mission Philippines!

Community Round-upThe Community round up is your weekly digest of all the latest news from the PokerStrategy.com forums.

If you were not around during the past week and still want to be up to date with everything going on in our community, make sure you catch up with all the most exciting stuff here.
Find out what you may have missed.

Hot Thread of the Week

We've all seen it happen, we call a card...and it doesn't come. We call it again and again and if we do it frequently enough, eventually we'll hit the nail and turn into card seers over a night. The first to accomplish that in 2011 is saruniks, a Bronze member with unknown background which just adds to the mystique surrounding him.

Nobody knows for sure how he does it, but if you want the following cards even in your hands to be predicted, he can do it for you on the site, in his thread which has forced its way into this week's spotlight with sheer magic. Jokes aside, it's another one of those great threads in which you can relax and goof around for a change after a hard grinding day at the poker tables.

Can I see future?

Poker Blog of the Week

Some people become astronauts and land on Moon, others become poker players and land on Philippines, surrounded with beautiful women, beaches and everything your heart would desire if you weren't an Eskimo who can't live without a nice cold bath on -50 degrees with penguins high fiving you as they do their migration walk stuff.

Six PokerStrategists have decided to take the poker playing road and embarked on their journey to Philippines to challenge themselves and enjoy life to the fullest. To make things interesting for them, they've given themselves a goal for this year. So if you wish to find out who they are and how they've been doing, don't hesitate to check out the poker blog of this week:

New Community Members this Week

We are gaining new members faster than those dealers on HSP and PAD can shuffle a deck. Newcomers from all over the world have stopped by in the introductory part of our forum to greet us all, ask for a tip or two to help them get started or discuss stuff that troubles them.

Here are some of our latest members:

We apologise for not being able to name everyone, but rest assured that even though your name did not make it on our weekly list, you are a valuable part of our community.

If you have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to post them in our forums. Our community members are some of the kindest and most knowledgeable poker players around and are ready to help you at any time.
All the best at the tables!

After a bit of a slower accumulation of winnings in the past week or two due to holidays and everything that comes along with this time of the year, we are now getting back on track with our One Million in a Year goal. Numerous tournament winnings were reported this week, so keep up the good work and don't forget that all wins count, whether they are small or big ones.
