Forum Structure Undergoes Changes
We have made some tweaks and adjustments to the forum structure in order to make its use even easier for you. Check out this news for all the details.
The PokerStrategy.com forum has always been a central part of our offer, as it contains help and tips on learning poker as well as discussions about all sorts of both poker-related and other topics.
Over the years, many threads and posts were accumulated, requiring more and more forums and causing the board to grow naturally, but without any inherent planning. Because of that, we've analysed the current structure and are now aiming to fix a few weak points.
The most important changes
The strategy section is a bit of a catch 22: It's too large to put up top, but it doesn't get much traffic where it currently is. That is why we are going to add links to the strategy sections and restructure the sections themselves, placing the hand evaluation boards as child-boards of the strategy discussion forums, along with other minor tweaks.
General Poker Discussion will also receive a minor facelift: It will include the Private Coaching sub-forum (formerly part of Feedback & Suggestions) as well as any threads from the former Database Exchange category which will be removed entirely.
Going live Monday
We will perform the changes early in the morning on Monday (Central European time) and expect to be finished by noon. During that time, parts of the forum may not be available and we want to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
You can find the entire change log in the forum - we're waiting for your feedback!
