Following Paul's video, PokerStrategy.com's pleno1 caught up with the latest team member to get an insight into how he's managed to amass over $275,000 from playing $2/$4 and $3/$6 NLHE.

lnternet: "Hi, it's great to be here."

PokerStrategy.com: Firstly, is it 'Internet' or 'Lnternet'? And why?

lnternet: "It's 'lnternet'. People who write 'Internet' might need to pay more attention to detail. Detail is crucial to poker success."

PokerStrategy.com: So you've been playing mid stakes for quite some time now. Did you jump right into the games or did you grind your way through the smaller limits first?

lnternet: "I started with play money back in the day. I then made my first deposit before winning some money in a freeroll. After that I read my first poker book and found the first online poker forum; since then I’ve never looked back.

The first real money game I played was actually 15c/30c Limit Hold’em on Ongame. Those were the days. After a while switched to No Limit and slowly moved up the limits.

I still have some really old databases with some NL100 hands where I played an amazing 22/8 style."

PokerStrategy.com: What general tips do you have for any NL50 players who are stuck at small stakes?

lnternet: "The most important things to focus on for small stakes players is rakeback: you need a good deal because rake is extremely high in terms of bb/100.

The second important piece of advice I'd offer players is that they should pay attention to every single hand you play. Small stakes regs are not bad players, but often times they make too many C-game mistakes.

For example, missing the fact that 85s on a J-9-7 flop gives you not one but two gutshots. Or folding AT on the button because you were busy focusing elsewhere. Those things will impact someone’s winrate more than you would expect."

PokerStrategy.com: So your first video covered a live session, what can we expect to see in your upcoming videos?

lnternet: "I will be doing a little series of basic poker math that everyone should know. With math content it's always difficult to reach a wide audience, but I will try my best to make it easy and useful at the same time.

And, of course, I'll do more live poker content, session reviews and interesting hand histories. If people let me know what they want to see I'll do it."
