We recap the best our forums had to offer this week in our Community Weekly Round-Up.

Challenge of the Week

Tilt Drunk

We have tons of exciting challenges on our forums right now, but this one is close to my heart.

Squirtle is looking to solidify his game, and in particular stop being a slave to tilt.

By his own admission, he lets all his hard work go to waste by going on tilt, or playing when drunk, so his goal for the rest of the year is to not let either happen.

It's going well for him so far, so head on over to the thread and wish him luck.

Learning to win

Sleepy Poker

A good topic started recently, which I haven't seen discussed for a while, but it's worth repeating - when is the softest time of day to play?

New member reyeswhite had some great insights:

"Many opponents who play early in the morning such as 1am-4am etc; are probably playing for boredom or addiction, and if tiredness is a factor you can be sure to capitalize on this."

"Playing on Friday and Saturday nights is also good because a lot of people may be playing under the influence of alcohol, and gives you bigger pots when playing against a drunk aggressive player."

"You need to make sure of course that the players you're playing against are in your own timezone or close. Playing in a British poker room at 2am is all well and good, but not great if you're playing against an Americans who are 5 hours behind."

Motivation

I'm a sucker for these things, AlphaVillain has started a motivational video thread, to get you psyched up before you play.

It also gave me a chance to post my all-time personal favourite video, if this doesn't get to you, you are dead inside:

GIF of the week

The GIF thread keeps on delivering, this one is plain stupid but I love it:

LOL of the week

This isn't LOL in the sense of 'ha ha', I just find this quite funny in the weird sense, that this movie is called Poker Night and seemingly has nothing to do with poker.

That said, it looks pretty good, and with stars of Lost, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy in lead roles, I'll give it more of a chance than I did Runner Runner:

Join us next week where obviously our focus will be on the November Nine.
