"Can he be bluffing there?"

What's the trending talk at the tables this week? Read here to find out in our community hand of the week.

It’s nice to be in charge of a top pair when the river hits, but take a look at the play made by wealthybrainer when faced with exactly that. In a NLHE Cash game, he was heads up with AQ in his pocket, as the pair met each other on every round up to card 5.

Our hero mucked at the end, exiting with no money, following the villain’s river raise despite hero catching a second Ace himself. Obviously this could have been handled better but would you do?

It certainly got the PokerStrategist community chatting about what they would have done differently. Was it a simple gut reaction to a raise on the river or should he have engineered the play better up to the that point?

"No Cbet"

la55i for example would definitely have played it differently, not using a c-bet on the flop and instead opting to check.

What about you though? We want to know what YOU WOULD DO when faced with the same situation.

Would you have played it differently? Let us know in the comments and play it out yourself below.

Not so, says our coach lemon36 who believes this is one of the biggest myths in poker and will prove that to you with this video here.
