"Folding kings? Really?"

One of this week’s most fascinating decisions was the pre-flop , all-in called by Hungarian community member apa100 in his iPoker No Limit Hold'em Cash game.

That’s right, armed with pocket kings, two players were heads up all in. What we found out later was that the Cut-off, who had been the first to go all in, was himself holding pocket Aces.

Fortunately a third King landed on the Flop alongside cards & , swinging the odds back in our hero’s favour. The Turn gave us a , while the River served up a , leaving apa100 $43 better off.

Numerous debaters got involved, with rekro1982 and another would-be folder, bogec84, in disagreement with apa100 and would have folded given the unlikely odds of a profitable outcome set against a heavy rakeback, meaning isn’t wasn’t likely to boost his equity, thus wasn't worth the risk.
