Attack Mondays

It's the first Monday of 2020 and if you feel like Monday mornings are a drag, check out this way to reframe them to start your week right.

We don't believe that watching a motivational video will suddenly make you a great poker player, consistent good habits and a commitment to learning will. However, it is undeniable that a short term boost of inspiration can start a positive snowball effect.

Every Monday morning at SpinLegends we share a 'Monday Motivation' video to get our players in the right frame of mind. Whether it's poker, chess, sport, business or study, the lessons are always universal, so we want to get you pumped in the same way.

Most people hate Mondays, especially poker players who have been up late grinding the Sunday Majors and bubbling every one of them. But the way you start your week defines how the rest of the week goes, so here is former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink with a way of reframing the start of your next seven days.

In poker and life there is always some way in which you can improve and do better than before. Whether that is beating your alarm clock, getting an extra ten minutes of study in or getting a third value bet in when you normally would check back. Structure every little moment, especially on Mondays, in terms of how you can do more, then see how the rest of the day, week and year goes.
