WSOP Daily: All PokerStrategists Out, Makiievskyi New Chip Leader
The last 3 PokerStrategists' luck ran thin in the WSOP Main Event, and they had to give up their dream of becoming one of the November Nine. The field is narrowed down to the last 22 players, so stick around as we near the November Nine.
The last PokerStrategist in this year's Main Event was philgruissem, who unfortunately lost in a coin flip with 77 vs. AT near the end of the day and busted out in 28th place for $242,636.
Sebastian 'miamivice' Ruthenberg had a very short seventh day in the Main Event. He started the day as the fields shortstack and was sent to the rails in 55th place when he pushed in his last 14BB with AQ and got called by KK. Shortly after that, yrrsin went out in 51st. He lost preflop all-in with TT vs. 99 but won't be too angry about it when taking his prize money of $160,036 back home to Switzerland.
A special appearance was once again to be seen from Erika Moutinho and her boyfriend David 'Doc' Sands. They not only were seated at the same table but also sat directly beside each other. Sands busted in 30th and his girlfriend busted only minutes later in 29th, making this story even more interesting. The two of them cashed more than $500,000 combined for their joint account.
