Final HM2 Beta Released

HM2
The most eagerly anticipated piece of poker software reached the final stages of its beta testing phase this week, prompting mild hysteria from the online fraternity. Hold’em Manager released its final beta version yesterday, fixing a number of bugs and improving the speed hands are imported.

While the final date and cost of the software still hasn’t been decided, it is expected that it will finally hit the virtual shelves later this month and with it bring a new way for grinders to milk the fish.

The new software will feature an array of new features but most significantly it will feature a Street by Street HUD, opponent line explorer – allowing you to see an opponent’s range whilst playing – and HUD graphs giving you the ability to assess and understand player stats faster.

HM2 will certainly bring about a new era in the online game and will likely become an essential piece of kit for the avid player.

BackBet Tables hit Titan Poker

titan BackBet
As poker players we all love to gamble every now and again which is why prop bets, both on and off the felt, are a staple of the game. Until now it’s been difficult to indulge in some side bet action unless you were playing in a live game, but thanks to the software designers at Titan Poker you can now get the experience online.

Their new BackBet tables allow you to wager additional money on a variety of different propositions such as the texture of the board, what your hole cards will be and the outcome of the hand after you’ve folded your cards. All the bets are tracked in the table’s history so you can keep tabs on how far much of a battering your bankroll has taken during the course of a session.

Full Tilt’s Assets to be Preserved

A clause in the proposed acquisition agreement between Groupe Bernard Tapie and Full Tilt Poker is to create a new position designed to protect the company’s current and future assets.

A chief restructuring officer is set to be appointed and will replace the current board of Full Tilt Poker directors and be responsible for overseeing and controlling any financial decisions made by the company.

Another clause also states that no dividends are to be paid to shareholders during the interim period. At present, no candidate has been selected for the position.

High Stakes Corner

He’s been on a financial tear over the last few weeks and it was business as usual at the virtual felt again yesterday for Ta-Chih “socutiesf” Geeng. In the last 24 hours he managed to earn himself another $68,000 playing a mix of $50/$100 and $100/$200 PLO, making him the biggest earner of the day.

The 2 players who felt “socutiesf” wrath the most were “g??fytwo” and “GARFIELD25”, the latter ended the day as the biggest loser with a $53,000 bankroll slump.

Joining “socutiesf” at the top of the profit leaderboard was Rafi Amit who has continued to rake in the cash this year and is now just a few thousand shy of the $2 million mark.
