2012 was the the most successful year in Dan Smith's poker career. The Las Vegas resident has dominated the tournament scene, earning over $3 million. In this interview with PokerStrategy.com, Smith talks about his great run, the WPT Paris and the International Stadiums Poker Tour.

First he won $1,041,828 at the Aussie Millions, and then he finished 1st in three Events at the European Poker Tour's stop in Monte Carlo. Dan Smith is on a hot streak this year, and he's deservingly considered one of the best tournament players around.
In August he won the Super High Roller Event of the EPT Barcelona - in heads-up play he defeated JC Alvarado to pocket $1,183,100. In the heads-up event he finished 4th for almost $50,000.
