Poker movie's release date

Rosenkrantz announces release

Years of research, numerous revisions and countless hours in the editing room have finally paid off for the producers of Bet Raise Fold: The Story of Online Poker.

Formerly titled, BOOM, the feature length poker documentary is set to chart the evolution of the online game through the eyes of three players: Tony Dunst, Danielle Moon and Martin Bradstreet.

Produced by Jay Rosenkrantz, Ryan Firpo and Taylor Caby, the movie has encountered numerous setbacks over the past two years (most notably because of Black Friday), but it was announced yesterday that the film will air in June.

To mark the announcement, the team have launched a website to give people more of an insight into the film's creation, as well as all the latest news and offers.

On top of that, betraisefoldmovie.com will air deleted scenes, featuring a number of famous pros, including one entitled: Phil Ivey is God.

PokerStars' high hopes for Berlin

Positive outlook for EPT Berlin

PokerStars is looking forward to another European jaunt with next incarnation of their EPT Berlin festival.

Infamous for an armed raid that took place in 2010, EPT Berlin certainly has some notoriety surrounding it.

However, despite any previous incidents, it remains one of the most popular stops on the European tour.

Last year the event as a whole paid out €6.2 million and it was Davidi Kitai who scooped €712,000 after besting a Main Event field of 745 players.

This time around PokerStars expects the prizepool to top €10 million thanks to 45 events taking place between April 17 and 27 inside Berlin's Grand Hyatt Hotel.

Just in case you missed it, the World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific kicked off earlier today with an AUD$1,100 Accumulator tournament.

Allowing players to take part in three starting days and combine their stacks on Day 2, a number of recognisable faces have already taken to the felt, including Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier and Rupert RupertE Elder.

While the first event rumbled on in the background, Joe Hachem took some time out to post an exclusive picture of this year's WSOP APAC bracelet.

Ben "Bttech86" Tollerene continued his positive 2013 with a $303,352 haul at the virtual tables, yesterday.

Taking on the likes of Phil Galfond over the course of 395 hands, the American pro managed to finish the day ahead of Kyle "KPR16" Ray ($282,500).

Despite dropping some crucial pots to Tollerene, Galfond also emerged from yesterday's session with a healthy profit.

Returning after a stint away from the felt, Galfond banked $230,340 over the course of 669 hands.

At the other end of the spectrum it was another rough day for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.

Having enjoyed a $2 million upswing in March, the Swede's latest session resulted in a $575,998 downswing.
