Bonomo bags his first WSOP bracelet
In today's Daily Rewind we congratulate Justin Bonomo on his first bracelet and hand out business advice with Annie Duke.

The WSOP's perennial bridesmaid, Justin Bonomo, finally stood upon the altar of success last night and said I do after beating Mike Sowers heads-up.
The American pro has banked more than $7 million in his live career, but until yesterday he'd never captured a WSOP title.
After making his way past more than 1,580 runners in Event #11 ($1,500 Six-Max), Bonomo found himself facing a 5:1 chip deficit heads-up.
However, not wanting to taste the bitterness of disappointment again, Bonomo dug deep and gradually chipped away at Sowers' stack.
Finally, after a pivotal pot in which Bonomo's 
rivered a straight on a 
board, he clinched his first bracelet and $449,980 while Sower's had to console himself with a $278,518 consolation prize.

It's been rumoured that Sheldon Adelson's hatred for online poker has caused him to remove members of the poker media from one of his properties.
According to Allen Kessler, reporters for Pokernews were asked to leave the Venetian and stop doing updates from the casino's summer festival.
The alleged reason for their removal was a series of links to online poker rooms on the site.
The Venetian has successfully run tournaments alongside the WSOP for a number of years and many pros often alternate between the two in search of value.
However, if Kessler's source is correct then we won't be getting any more live updates from the felt this summer thanks to Mr. Adelson.
As yet there has been no official confirmation of the story by Pokernews.
Duke on decision-making

She has "acute observations about executive decision-making" according to a recent Forbes article, but we're not so sure members of the poker community would say the same about Annie Duke.
After exiting the industry following the UltimateBet scandal, Duke has since used her poker skills to bluff it as a business expert.
Despite failing in her role with the fallen poker site, Duke was recently touted as an expert who can help people improve their decision-making skills.
The article, entitled A Poker Champion Explains Why You Make Bad Business Decisions, laments on Duke's ability to turn imperfect information into perfect scenarios before turning over to Duke's own words.
While there's certainly some merit to her poker/business analogies, the article has certainly generated a few snide chuckles from members of the community who've read it.

Although Justin Bonomo's win was the only conclusive result during the latest round of WSOP action, two more tournaments were able to move one step closer to a conclusion recently.
Events #12 and #13 both whittled down their final few tables earlier today to leave themselves poised on a finale. First to wind down was Event #12 ($1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em) as Ryan Schoonbaert led a relatively unknown group of eight towards a bracelet and $169,225.
In Event #13 ($10,000 No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball) Paul Volpe will lead an all-star cast into tomorrow's final session. After bagging 783,000 chips the American pro finished atop of a chasing pack that includes Daniel Negreanu, Jason Mercier, Brian Rast and John Monnette.
