Featured Table: Tuan Lam Wins a 11.46 Million Pot Against Scotty Nguyen
Lee Childs has the button in seat 9, Tuan Lam raises from the small blind to 480,000, Scotty Nguyen reraises from the big blind to 1.48 million, and Lam thinks for about a minute before he calls. There is already 3.06 million in the pot.
The flop comes {K-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}, Lam checks, Nguyen bets 700,000, and Lam calls. There is now 4.46 million in the pot.
The turn card pairs the board with the {K-Diamonds}, and both players check.
The river card is the {J-Diamonds}, Lam bets 1 million, Nguyen raises to 3.5 million, and Lam goes into the tank for about five minutes before he eventually calls. Nguyen shows {4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and fours, and Lam shows {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a higher two pair, kings and tens.
Tuan Lam wins the pot worth 11.46 million.

The turn card is the {K-Diamonds}, Nguyen checks, Hilm bets 1.2 million, Nguyen moves all in, and Hilm immediately calls with {5-Clubs}{5-Spades} for a set of fives. Nguyen shows {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens, and he's drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the {4-Hearts}.)

2,35mio war falsch geschrieben mit den 1,35.
hat einen großen pot mit AQo vs. 55 verloren board war Q5xxx somit verloren und scotty war down.

The players have reached the final table, only we don't call it the final table, because there will be ten players sitting there. The official final table won't begin until Tuesday at 12:00 noon PDT, and it will only have nine players.

aber mit hilm (uk), kalmar(uk) und Alex Kravchenko(rus) zumindest ein drittel die nicht aus den usa kommen.
edit: hier noch die abgangsrede von scotty, einfach vorstellen wie er reden würde *gg* allerdings hat er es vollbracht, ein interview ohne das wort baby zu nennen zu führen.
Scotty Nguyen Takes the Microphone
Scotty Nguyen finishes his ESPN exit interview, and he is handed a microphone to address the crowd. This is nearly word-for-word what he said (you'll have to do your best to imagine it in Scotty's voice):
"First, I want to congratulate all the players here, and I wish the best to all of you. But the most important thing is, I want to thank the fans. Without you guys, we wouldn't have Scotty Nguyen. We're disappointed, but let me tell you, you guys gave me all I need."
At this point, a woman screamed out, "We love you!"
Scotty continued:
"I want to thank ESPN, the Bluff, the whole crews, the whole staff, and everybody here. I wish I could give you more, but for 2007 [he pronounced it as "two-thousand-oh-oh-seven"], that's the end of me. I'll see you back here in 2008."

ja, er hat körner im HU seinen 3:1-chiplead abgenommen und letztendlich auch gewonnen (war n vorrundentisch bei den UK-open)...was ich noch so in erinnerung hab nen ziemlicher LAG, war allerdings auch shorthanded...und gute reading-abilities hat er...
A Concerned Wife
Jon Kalmar's wife called her husband over. She said something to the effect that his drunken friends were making him look bad. Over the last hour, they have been screaming, yelling, and even cursing while hands are in progress. They have not be escorted from the area, but Kalmar had to tell them to chill out a couple of times.
Aside from Kalmar's rowdy and drunken railbirds, it's been relatively quiet.
