Hello: I am having several problem7s with the Pokerstars software consisting in 3 software crashes. 2 were before the last software upgrade and I thought they would be the last but I am experiencing another one right now. I think my internet connection is not responsible for this crashes, becaue it worked very well in other applications at the same time of the crash. I am attaching in the picture 1 and 2 the crash I had before the Upgrade. Apparently a connection problem started and some of the tables stop responding to my command. And there was nothing I could do about it. Once the connection was restablished only 4 tables were funcional but the other 20 were totally useless. I was just wasting a seat without the possibility of joining the waiting list, and obviously the "take a seat option" did not appear but also there was no hand dealt to me. The recent crash after the upgrade is attached in pictures 3 and 4. The pattern was the same but also appeared a window saying NOSIT. This crashes are very unnfortunate because of the following reasons 1.-Holdem Manager fails to record the hand. 2.-It is impossible to track without the Holdem Manager record of much money is won or lost. 3.-And the most important my money is being lost. If you table is totally frozen you have a very poor expectation of winning the hand. Even if I win the hand and the table is frozen I m having my doubts about if the money is credited in my account, I recently knew that I was throwing away fpps (valuable as cash, you are always telling me that) by closing the table before the fpps are dealt. I hope you can have some explanations to this 3 points.

Hello Policarpio,
Thank you for your email and for allowing us to be of assistance.
Unfortunately, the NetworkStatusReport.log file that we need to review was
not saved in the ZIP file that you have sent us. Please elevate the
PokerStars program to Administrator to allow the software to save the
Network Status Report. To accomplish this you will need to right click the
PokerStars shortcut and select "Run as Administrator". If you do not see
this option it means that your Windows Account is not an Administrator, in
this case you will need to get the Administrator to log into the computer
for you.
Once PokerStars has loaded please click on Help -> Network Status. When this
dialog opens click on the Report button. This report is saved to your
PokerStars settings folder which you will need to locate and send to us for
review. To send this to us please do the following:
1. Open the Main Lobby
2. Go to Help
3. Go to Log Files
4. Select "Save Log Files as ZIP..."
5. Save the file to your Desktop, you may have to navigate to the Desktop as
the default location is the PokerStars Settings Folder
6. Reply to this email
7. Click on Attach File (or similar option)
8. Select the ZIP file located in your Desktop or wherever you chose to save
the file
9. Click OK and send the email
Thank you for your cooperation and for choosing PokerStars.

Hello Policarpio,
Thank you for your email and for allowing us to be of assistance.
One of the possible causes is that PokerStars is having problems
to read to the file in which the program is saved in. The program
is saved in C:\Program Files (x86)\PokerStars. The folder Program
Files (x86)is specifically for programs that were designed for a
64 bit system and the brackets () may cause issues for 32 bit
programs.
One option is to install to the regular Program file folder. You
may wish to make a copy of "user.ini" (your preferences) and
"notes.xml" (notes made on other players) from the PokerStars
software as they will be removed when you uninstall the software.
To do this simply open the PokerStars software (if possible) and
click on "Help" -> "Open My Settings Folder" and locate those two
files and copy them to a safe temporary location. If you cannot
open the software you will need to manually navigate to the
settings folder to locate those files.
For Windows 7 (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\PokerStars\):
1. Click Start
2. Type the following or copy/paste into the Search and press
Enter:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\PokerStars (or PokerStars.NET)
3. Locate "user.ini" or "user" and "notes.xml"
4. Copy the files to a safe temporary location (the desktop is a
good choice)
Once you have made a copy of those files, uninstall PokerStars
from your computer.
In Windows Vista, go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall a
Program. Once there, uninstall all PokerStars items.
Once there, uninstall all PokerStars items. Once you do that, go
to My Computer -> Local Disk (C:) -> Program Files (x86) and
delete all PokerStars folders.
Restart your computer and download and install a fresh copy of
the software from the following link.
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/download/
Using the Custom install option to install to C:\Program Files\
which is the folder for 32 bit programs such as PokerStars.
Another option is C:\Users\Public\PokerStars\ which will usually
have read and write permissions. Please note that the Public
folder is only accessible by the profiles created on that
computer, not by anyone else.
Be sure to restore the two saved files once reinstalled. To do
this, please go to the 'Help' menu and then back to 'Open My
Settings Folder', then close PokerStars and copy the files back
into the folder. If you are asked to overwrite any files accept.
You should then have no additional problems.

Hello:
Unfortunately the solution given to me for this matter has not worked. I am still having failures in the pokerstars software when my internet conection crashes. I have read the FAQ but I think it is impossible for me to stop having disconections. But is very frustrating that my seats in somo of the tables are not available when my conection comes back. Here are the pictures of my last 3 crashes in March 2 and 3. You can notce in the picture crash 02 that I am not able to play in the table Seinajoki IV when the connection is already restored. It happens in many tables but not all are visible in the picture.
Hope you can work in this bug and I will be glad to provide information for this.
Sincerely yours Policarpio.

Hello:
Last time I had no chance to save the log files in time but again I had a crash and this time I took notes of the specific hands and tables where the problem occured. I atached an image with the table names and game number plus the log files and network status recorded just half an hour after the disconnection.
Thank you very much for your support.

Hello Francisco,
Thank you for your email and allowing us to be of assistance.
The log files you have provided indicate there is a problem with
corrupted memory or possibly a corrupted hard drive. Fortunately
there are few simple steps that can be taken to resolve this
particular problem.
First ensure you have performed a complete virus scan of your
system. If you do not have a virus program we recommend using the
following free online scan.
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner
Next, please run the Scan Disk utility by opening a Command
Prompt or DOS prompt
For Windows XP or later:
1) Click on the Start Button
2) Click on My Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt
3) In the black window enter the command "CHKDSK /F" (without the
quotes)
For Windows Vista or Windows 7, you will first need to run the
command prompt in Administrator mode:
1) Click on the Start button.
2) In the Start Search box, type in "Cmd" (without quotes).
3) Right click on the Command Prompt in the search result listing.
4) In the right click menu, click on 'Run as Administrator' menu
item.
5) In the black window enter the command "CHKDSK /F" (without the
quotes)
It is possible that the problem is related to spyware or adware,
third party software that secretly installs itself on your PC. We
recommend the following scans be used to ensure your system is
clean.
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware:
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button
Super AntiSpyware: http://www.superantispyware.com/download.html
All of the above are free, and work well in conjunction with each
other, finding things the other does not. Cleaning your system
may free up more RAM and remove items from your system that
affect your connection and our software functionality.
We would also recommend performing a registry scan and make sure
that is clean. You can find a very good free program on the
following link.
http://www.ccleaner.com/
Once you have performed the suggested scans above please
uninstall PokerStars from your system and reinstall.
You may wish to back up USER.INI and NOTES.XML from the
PokerStars directory. The easiest way to back up these files is
to open the software and click on "Help" -> "Open My Settings
Folder". Then locate those two files and copy them to a safe
temporary location. Then uninstall PokerStars.
In Windows XP, go to Control Panel -> Add and Remove Programs and
remove all PokerStars items.
In Windows Vista, go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall a
Program. Once there, uninstall all PokerStars items.
After you have uninstalled it, restart your computer once the
software has been removed. When the computer has restarted,
download and install a fresh copy of the software from our
website:
http://www.pokerstars.com/download.html
Be sure to restore the two saved files once reinstalled, to do
this please go to the 'Help' menu and then back to 'Open My
Settings Folder'. Then close PokerStars and copy the files back
into the folder. If you are asked to overwrite any files accept.
You should then have no additional problems.
Please let us know any time we may be of further assistance.
If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to
contact us again.

PokerStars Technical Specialist
Hello:
Unfortunately none of this matter has been at least close to be solved. And this time I am playing in stakes higher than before in 20 tables so this is now a matter of money. In other words (and I am very sorry if I sound rude) I do not want any further response from the technical support asking me to run aplications for this and applications for that. All this test like disk check and the disk defragmentation and the virus scan I make them periodically in my computer and it is very frustrating to run all this tests again the time you ask me for and stop my playing just for letting you know that the software has a bug. I am not gonna run additional test sumoned by you and as a response for this e mail I would like you to give me a date for this problem to be solved by the technical support and how are you going to count all the money lost because of this discconections problem and when are you giving it back to me. C' mon guys in Full tilt and in Titan Poker never happened this. And I do not think that this is a problem
of a corrupted hard drive or memory because this problem would have happened before in a situation where the internet connection is perfect. And please do not ask me for doing something nonesense like closing the client and reopen it. It is imposible to do it. It is worst than losing in the stuck tables table. If I close the client I will close all the active tables where I am in the middle of a hand, besides all the time it woulfd take to log in. I hope you can do something I know You can.
Attached to this it is a video I recorded how the tables get after the crash I hope you can see it so you can understand the problem and my frustration. And do not want this to ruin my Supernova Elite carrer.
Sincerely Yours Policarpio

Hello Francisco,
Your email was passed to me as the support supervisor on duty.
I have read through the recent correspondence between yourself and
PokerStars and am indeed sorry to see that no satisfactory resolution has
been reached yet.
I am in correspondence with our most senior technical specialist who is
assisting me in making a comprehensive review this case. We will also review
hands where you were unable to play as normal with the idea of providing a
refund to you.
At this time, should this issue happen again we can only suggest that you
close then reopen the PokerStars software. We will however respond to you
once our further review is complete with some more relevant information.
We do understand how frustrating and even costly this may be for you and we
are committed to finding a resolution which you will find reasonable. You
may expect us to reply with more information within 48 hours.
We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hello Policarpio,
This email is in regards to the ongoing disconnection issue you have reported.
Allow me to begin by thanking you for your patience and cooperation
throughout this issue. The screen shots and information you have provided
has been most helpful even as we realise just how frustrating issues like
this can be for you.
I have discussed this matter with our senior technical specialist and he
confirms that the issue you are experiencing is somewhat caused by a bug in
the PokerStars software. Simply, at various times you are suffering a brief
disconnection with the PokerStars software which is outside our control,
when you reconnect with the server the PokerStars software is not correctly
returning you to all of the tables you are sitting at. This is the
significant error here which may be apparent after any disconnection no
matter how minor.
This issue is not affecting a large number of players however it has been
isolated and our programming team are working on a solution to it. We hope
to have this completely resolved in the near future. In the mean time we
cannot offer any guarantee that you will not suffer this same issue again.
If it does occur we can only suggest that you close then open the PokerStars
software to ensure a stable connection is regained. The loss of your
existing seats in this case is unfortunately unavoidable. If you do notice
it we kindly ask that you contact us so that we may assist you with the case.
The previous email we sent to you requesting more information about your
system was in fact misdirected. We do apologise for this mishandling of your
case and hope you can appreciate that these less common issues may be
misdiagnosed from time to time.
You are a valued player at PokerStars and we would like to support you with
your SuperNovaElite goal in any way we can. We feel that some compensation
in this case is reasonable and to this end we have reviewed every hand you
have timed out on in 2011. There were 211 of these hands and we have
refunded you any funds you had contributed to the pot but were unable to
complete the hand. This summed to $128.50 which has been added to youraccount now. For your information I have attached a summary of these hands.
We hope you find this a reasonable resolution to this issue and appreciate
your patience in seeing our programmers completely resolve this problem.
We are more than happy to provide any further information to you which you
may require. If you do have any questions please let us know and best of
luck at the tables!

Hello:
I know you have been working on the recconection problem. I know you have updated the software because I have received the new version window 2 or 3 times. Now, here's the thing. I have noticed some changes in the software when regaining connection. It is like the software wants to crash and get unavailable my tables like I have described in the past, but the program seems like trying to reconect the tables again.
The problem is that since the update I have already had several types of discconection
1.- the first time I was glad when the software was capable to regain connection with no negative efects. I recovered control on every table.
2.- The second time I felt totally dissapointed when the problem happened again. Playing like 20 tables the software was not capable to gain connection in all of the tables. Something like 5 tables were not capable to show the control panel.
3.- I have just experienced the worst type of discconection. And I have to confess I am very angry. Attached to this email are the images of what just happened. This discconection make EVERY TABLE TO CRASH. Guys whatever you are doing you are doing it wrong. It is now worse than ever. Please do something. It feels terrible to be wasting my money and my time for this to happen. And please do not tell me you understand my frustration. You are as close to fix the problem to undarstand I will tell you why. The last step in the solution of this problem was that you refunded $128.5 to my account. I know you have several rules when refunding. But I feel I have to tell you this, I know it is my opinion and I know It is fair that you chose to not do anything about it, but 128 dollars it is a miserable amount of money to refund me by this issue. The day after you refunded the money I had another crash, and this time I took the time to count an aproximated amount of money invested by me, I included voluntary and not voluntary money, and I counted around a hundred dollars in one single crash. Probably some of that money came back to me, I do not know and that is my frustration. What I do know is that in that time I was holding a very strong hand against an aggressive player, a very profitable situation and I just had to lose a lot of money instead of winning. And I want to be refunded by this and all the the crashes since you refunded me with the 128 dollars.
I also want to ask you something else, I think it is fair that you send me ALL the hands related to this bug, crahsed tables and non crashed tables, so I can track them in my Holdem manager. I know this could be very difficult, looking for this specific sessions and in specific dates, dates that I do not know (you have to infer when a session was interrupted by the bug), hands that you have to look for and looking in billions of hands can be frustrating. I hope you have a very good search engine, if not then you will be close to understand my rage and frustration.
Sorry for being so mean, but as you may know I cannot change poker room, I cannot quit having supernova status and start all over in another casino, it is a bigger waste of money. So I hope your technical support can debbug the software. Otherwise you will be receiving some more of this email. And sorry for saying that 128 was misserable. I know it looks fair for you the system you used to calculate the money, but guess what........ ask yourselves if it is fair for me to deal with the bug, with all this uncomfortable emails, and pleas help me understand WHY ME!!!. I do not want to be dealing with dates or money quantities, you just do whatever you want.
Due the recent events of the .com domain I have sent this e-mail to 2 different email addresses I hope whoever read this can send this to the appropiate support member. This is a problem we have been dealing with since like 2 months.
Sincerely yours Policarpio

Hlelo Maj:
The technical support is already aware of the problem, and they are already working on it at least it is what I have been told. I think it is very obvious that you did not read the whole chain of emails between the support and me. I will tell you why. I took very short time for you to answer, and also you made the mistake that the .com support have already made that is sending this to Technical support. The .com support sent this to a supervisor, and it is a supervisor named Leonard B who is personally dealing with this problem. Please answer a question. What happened with the support of the .com domain? Are they not able anymore to deal with this?
Sincerely yours Francisco Medina
Hello Policarpio,

Allow me to explain that although Leonard looked into you case
and was indeed highly involved in assisting you, the technical
consultation was made by our senior technical specialist, who
works in the technical department. Any follow-ups to this known
error should therefore be sent to this department for further
review. As such, I can assure you that your email was correctly
forwarded and that the high quality of our support remains
intact. Your email will be responded to by the technical team who
are responsible for these matters as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Vanja T:
Thanks for you reading all my complaints and all the email chain that started since Febraury 17. As you have realised by reading all the emails this is a matter that became very uncomfortable, and delicate because involved money lost by me. Leonard was aware of this and was closely working with the senior technical. Please answer this
Do I have to send a question twice for an intact high quality support to answer me?
What happened with the support of the .com domain? Are they not able anymore to deal with this? (Remember the question from the past mail?)
Who is going to decide how much to refund me? Is he who will be looking for my hands? How long will you take to send me the hands? How long will you take to refund me?
Who is going to decide how much to refund me? Is he who will be looking for my hands? How long will you take to send me the hands? How long will you take to refund me? (Twice so you can answer me in just one email)
As you can see it can be very difficult to deal with this matter in this way. Please answer my questions and read the past emails and I would be more than happy to stop this agresive mode. Remember that you are dealing with someone who thinks you are the worst support team.
Thank you very much for your answers.
PS: Did you really read the mails? Did you really read the mails?

Wow increibleeeeeeee.
