Hey!

How do you calculate your bb/h avg when you play different limits? Example:

Session #1 with 3 hours duration is NL Holdem $1/$3 with a loss of $1000 = -111bb/h
Session #2 with 7 hours duration is NL Holdem $5/$10 with a profit of $2000 = +29bb/h

All together we have -82bb/h but +$100/h

We could calculate the AVG Big Blind: ($3x3h) + ($10x7h) = 79/10h = 7.9bb (avg)
Than we would have +13bb/h and +$100/h which makes more sence imo.

How would you calculate it?

I would use a tracker
Session 1: 333 BB loss
Session 2: 200 BB win

Net: -133 BB
Total time: 10 hours
Result: -13.3 BB/Hour

When calculating things in BB I ignore the dollar value of the BB entirely, and just work with the BB numbers. I'm not saying this is the best solution for everyone, but it does work
