I Think I Played Too Passively

Opponent is relatively unknown — about 25 hands or so, but nothing noteworthy
PokerStars, Hold'em No Limit - $0.10/$0.25 - 6 players

UTG: $72.13 (289 bb)
MP: $29.77 (119 bb)
CO: $24.35 (97 bb)
BU: $30.91 (124 bb)
SB (Hero): $26.02 (104 bb)
BB: $25.00 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.35) Hero is SB with A♥:T♣:
4 players fold, Hero raises to $0.75, BB calls $0.50

Flop: ($1.50) 2♦:A♦:Q♠: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.74, BB calls $0.74 <<< seems standard so far

Turn: ($2.98) A♠: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $1.70, Hero calls $1.70 <<< I flat because I have decent showdown value, but I have a hand that is often dominated

River: ($6.38) 5♦: (2 players)

:diamond:  bet/fold?
  check/fold?
:club:  bet/raise?
:spade:  check/raise?
:diamond:  bet/call
:club:  check/call

ATo on SB vs BB isn't weak Ace. +AJ on BB vs SB should 3bet pre. However, BB does have more A2/A5 in range than you do. We want value from Qx but at the same time we want something like 4d4s to turn into bluff on river. check/call or bet/fold are both decent options. I would bet/fold this one 75% pot.

I added in the other two choices:
:diamond:  bet/call
:club:  check/call

The one I planned on was check/call

With Q on the board and 2 flush draws i will bet OTT up to 75%. As played i check/call OTR. Flush completes so i am gonna widen V's range

No need to call — opponent checked back and showed A♣:7♣:

I don't think you are to often dominated in a blind war and with 2 aces on the board it's less like villain has the last remaining ace. I would go for 3 streets of value. As played I would most likely check/call the river. I don't think you get value with raising and you give villain to bluff.

Cheers,

Any AJ+ would 3bet you pre.
X/C on the river

It's fine..
Your hand is not "often dominated" ..You decide to check call OTT, for what we are talking about ? Donk bet? I almost never use a donk bet, very rare this will be good. From many points of view. Max value, balance...Stick to the story..

So maybe I play a little different-
I think I possible check the flop- as you don’t have a 3 street betting hand- depending on the run out, there are many cards on the turn that can come that change the board. So I believe I would check, bet about 60% then river I think I go for thin value with blocker bet.

IMO.
