During my study session, I came across this hand and I am wondering how to think about this hand.
Where to apply odds?

UTG: $5.43 (109 bb)
MP: $5.60 (112 bb)
CO: $5.21 (104 bb)
BU: $6.25 (125 bb)
SB: $14.93 (299 bb)
BB (Hero): $5.00 (100 bb)
Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is BB with 8♣ 6♣
4 players fold, SB raises to $0.15, Hero calls $0.10
Flop: ($0.30) 9♦ 3♣ 7♥ (2 players)
SB bets $0.22, Hero calls $0.22
Turn: ($0.74) 8♦ (2 players)
SB bets $0.53, Hero ??
I flat pretty wide range preflop, 86s is amongst it. Flop gives me a straight draw so just with this information I call even though the villain bets quite big.
Turn is 8, it kind of helps me but I feel that not exactly. At least I have some showdown value. SB bets on the bigger side again on the turn. And now, in my opinion, I should start thinking about the odds in this spot. I must say I don't calculate odds often. I think about odds very rarely in fact. I don't like it but I should stop avoiding it. I have to fix this part of my game as soon as possible, I know.
My question is should I consider applying odds already on the flop?
