Hi and happy new year! :f_drink:

I reinstalled my windows recently and couldn't find a way to re-register into the unlimited power-equilab(bought this summer). How do I do that? - I am currently running on the trial version.

I just purchased this the other day and am absolutely loving it. It just renders all the other software of it's kind obsolete and overpriced.

One question though: I'm using version 1.8.8.0 and am paying monthly. How/where can I update Power Equilab now and in the future?

Thanks!

Every update in the future is included in every subscription.
If a new version is out, you will get a hint at Power-Equilab startup. Just let you redirect to the download page, download the new version and install it with a few clicks ... that's it :)

/facepalm - I simply hadn't restarted Power Equilab since before you guys issued 1.8.9.0. That's how much I like it lol. I restarted it and was prompted with the update which then applied correctly. Thanks for the help on this and keep up the great work. As said, I loved Equilab and touted it heavily but this is really something special.

HI,

Thanks for the wonderful program!
Just want to know is it ok, that "heat map" does not process hands like Ah4h(1 combo) or 8s3d(1combo)? It shows only "full" hands like AKo(16 combos) or KJs(4combos).

For example add some ranges to BB and SB and add random flop, then for SB click "Hand strength distribution" button and choose for example only top pair and flush draw or oesd and click "Take modified range to main window", so SB range will be changed and a lot of 1 combo flash draw hands will be added. Then click on "Heat map" button and all flush draw combos will be missed. Only full offsuite or suited hands will be displayed.

Is it ok?
If so, do you plan to add not full combos to Heat map?

By request of an american user, there is a new miniupdate to Version 1.9.2.0 out now.

Handrange selection window: Ranges in tree with notes are marked with a litte stickie.

Handrange selection window: New option to select if the parent range or the first childrange is displayed when clicked.
This is very usefull while playing, because the user does not have to open the childrange separate.

Good news! Because of the many requests and the massive changes in the last updates, we decided to offer a second trial period.

Version 1.9.5.0 is out now.

Now, every user has the opportunity to ask for a second trial period programmatically (window at startup, if first trial has expired).

Handrange window: Option to hide the predefined ranges (contextmenu).

Handrange window: Cursor changes to an arrow with an plus, if the user presses ctrl or shift for adding ranges.

Handrange window: Cursor changes to an arrow with an minus, if the user presses ctrl and shift for subtracting ranges.

Hi, I don't think the adding or subtracting ranges feature is working.
Say I have a range that's split into 3 sub ranges(different colors) how do i choose two of them? I can't seem to add 1 sub range to another sub range or subtract 1 sub range from the parent range... Help is appreciated, thanks.

Hi pokernme92,

you are right. Adding and substracting ranges only works with ungrouped ranges. This feature makes no sense in grouped ranges.
If you like to selected two "brother"-ranges, it is highly recommended to build one parent range and arrange the two "brother"-ranges as its children. In order to select both "brother"-ranges, you only have to select the parent range. Please take a look at this example:

Hi nopi,

Don't know if other people feel the same but it's easier to have all sub ranges together under 1 parent and be able to add or subtract. For example my parent range is the set of all hands that plays. Sub ranges are call, raise/fold, raise/call, raise/reraise. This way I can see all my ranges in different colors under my parent range rather than having to click under a raising range to see the continuations under that. Now if my raise gets flatted then im playing all 3 raise ranges so it would make sense to be able to add them.

Version 1.9.6.0 is out now.

In the handrange selection window, now you can calculate the equities for the parent range and every subrange in grouped ranges to get a brief overview of the equities of all subranges. It no longer necessary to take the range to the mainwindow and calculate every subrange individually.

Just click the button "Evaluate" and the equities will be calculated:

It works up to 16 groups:

It works against up to 9 villain ranges:

It works with given streets to calculate:

Of course, it works all together: Nested ranges, weighted ranges, multiple ranges, boad cards, dead cards, given street:

best regards, nopi
