Villan 23/17 3b 6% over 4.7k hand. Seems like a reg player. Also his cbet stats and Fcbet stats are pretty normal.

PokerStars - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 117.2 BB
Hero (MP): 116 BB
CO: 101 BB
BTN: 102.6 BB
SB: 129.6 BB
BB: 110 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has J♠ A♦

fold, Hero raises to 2.4 BB, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 1.4 BB

Flop: (5.2 BB, 2 players) 7♦ J♥ 5♥
BB checks, Hero bets 2.6 BB, BB calls 2.6 BB

Turn: (10.4 BB, 2 players) 7♠
BB checks, Hero bets 5.2 BB, BB calls 5.2 BB

River: (20.8 BB, 2 players) 8♣
BB checks, Hero checks

Spoiler

BB shows 7♣ T♣ (Three of a Kind, Sevens)
(Pre 39%, Flop 20%, Turn 95%)
Hero mucks J♠ A♦ (Two Pair, Jacks and Sevens)
(Pre 61%, Flop 80%, Turn 5%)
BB wins 20 BB

I was not sure to three barrel this hand, with two calls vs this more like regular player I felt like a X on the river. If I check his range a lot of two pairs, trips 7, and a straight completing the river. so what do you think?

it's close to go for a thin value Cbet on river as well. I expect you could get some action of KJ and maybe QJ as well. off course if you go for the Cbet on the river you need to give up if you face a raise.

What is average cbet and Fcbet? What do you consider average?

Check river there isn’t much worst hands calling your bet. Everything misses.. only 28 combos I believe that can call. 7 of them which are suited... you can double check my count. 😁😁 I can be mistaken..

Cheers!!!!!

I agree (y) this is what I would do as well. But still, well played nevertheless! I wouldn't file this under a mistake, just a good old regular lost hand of poker

Thanks all! ill look up the Fcbet stats (and keep an eye on it on future decisions!

I agree with a thin value bet or checking behind. Hope to find a similar answer to what I thought!
That's because I overbet these hands in the past and kept losing money in marginal spots.

Does that mean some of you would check the flop? Because I don't understand why you would do that? If you fear a reraise, than you can't bet any flop anymore unless you've got the nuts... or I'm I misinterpreting some of your advices ?

I feel this hand was played perfectly.

Koning,
Nothing was said about flop action,
Zara, asked about 3 barreling... I was just asking the question about his statement about cbeting, if he knew what the average was. That’s all, sorry for confusion.

Cheers!
