For what it's worth. I quite enjoy reading this blog. It's rather refreshing and different. All language included!

Like you say Vorpal as long as he is not breaking any severe forum rules. It's down to the reader not to read. They're not being forced to read. ( Well I hope not ;) )

This is just to let you know that some complaints have been made about the coarse language in your blog.
You might want to review our forum principles.

Dude sorry didn't mean to offend anyone.

This is your blog, and if that is the sort of language you use in everyday life, so be it. Other members are quite welcome to avoid reading your posts.

However, if the idea of a blog is to get readers to engage, then it might be a good idea to tone down the language a bit.

Sorry again  this is the kinda language I use every day. If I ever make a TV final table all you'll hear is beeeeeeeeeeeeeep.

This isn't about engaging with anyone, I'm not here for the likes or pats on the back. I don't care about that kinda stuff. If anyone reads it cool, if not, its cool also. It's just a place for me to vent or rage about poker. I don't think I've been rude to anyone on this forum.
I haven't have I? Shit. If I have I'll apologise to that person/persons. If they live close to me they welcome to come round and kick me in the ballz.

I'll try and tone it down, but I'll never try as hard as I do at poker. :truestory:

Can you put like a warning label or something on the blog?

Thanks dude, I try and keep it light, I mean damn (insert F BOMB)man I'm trying to get good at poker without loosing my mind or money. I actually went and edited out a "shit" from one of my replies in the hand discussions and somewhere it started snowing...

This entire site is for people 18+ who can make their own decisions about who to read and who to avoid.

However, our forum principles contain the following lines:

• No profanity for any reason, including abbreviations and references will be penalized.

In case of doubt, a moderator will decide what is an insult and what is not. This is necessary because a democratic vote is not always a viable option.

A bit of background: I grew up in a mining town where everyone used similar language. It was a bit strange though, because even as a kid I soon learned that you didn't use it in school, church or other people's homes. In the last instance you didn't swear even if they did, or even if you did at home.

In my early 20s I lived with a number of others in a large cabin, and there was a girl I fancied, who one day said to me: :spit: you eat with that mouth?" It made me aware that what I said told more about me that it did about my topic.
My wife claims that she never heard me swear until after we were married. (I'm not so sure, but I ain't arguing  )

By the time I was a high school teacher, I had pretty much managed to eliminate it altogether.

@jiffybag, I'll leave it up to you.

If anyone is feeling the need, the forum does include an "ignore" feature, where you can add a setting to simply not see a particular user's posts. To use it go to:
https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/usercp.php?action=ignore_list
Scroll to the bottom and click "Manage Ignore List"

Thanks everyone for your understanding...

Yes I went through the rulez and saw this. I'll try and tone it down.

I never grew up in a mining town, sounds cool, lots of trouble kids can get into I'm sure. I heard this kinda language at school, from the kids and teachers (screaming it at us kids). At church, from the damn priest (can you believe that? at least all he did was swear at me!). And other peoples homes OMG :spit: And as I sit hear its all I hear from all the people walking past my house  It doesn't help that there is a rehab opposite my house and tensions do flare up from time to time.

By the time I was a high school teacher, I had pretty much managed to eliminate it altogether.

HOW are you not swearing at the school kids? My friends wife is a teacher (primary, in the middle east), she said she hopes she gets covid again just so she can take another holiday.

The problem is that I shouldn’t have to block someone to not read disturbing things. I’m discussing and reading posts in the NL hand discussions threads and this guy is talking about getting an erection with AA, calling his opponents all types of names using swearing it goes on and on. By the time I hit the block button it doesn’t take away the fact that I had to read the disturbing messages to find out they were disturbing in the first place, you cant unread something. This forum should have higher standards and I will be trying to reach the head admins about this.

2 Hour grind, down a buck and 3 cents. NEGATIVE :profit: I could only get 2 tables going and most of the time I was HU with some fool on one table and I have to play this passive ass game cause the rake is 10% :ayfkm:
Earlier today I signed up at Natural 8 poker through poker strategy cause I saw there's a $8 bonus if you deposit $10 and it so happens I have like almost $11 dollars in Skrill, but on Naturals site the Skrill deposits say minimum $15 deposit, so I calculated my pot odds and I've already TILTED BIG BALLZ before I've even played a hand. To be fair I haven't installed their client yet (it might be different to their website)because on their site it says you can play in your browser. That would be cool, since I use Linux, but I couldn't find anywhere that I could play or deposit on their website so I'm going to see if there is anything different when I install it on my windows :ayfkm: machine. They also say they accept some Crypto currencies, and I think I got like $35 worth of something so we'll see. So  by Monday I'll still be playing on my local site

I went round to Stars website cause I thought maaaaybeeeee :deadhappy: but there was a big message saying "fuck you and your country". :why:

And then I came back here and saw this blog for the first time

pppppppppprrrrrrrrrrrrrfffffffffffffff
Sup noobz

Just played a 2 hour sesh and ended up a buy down at 20NL. Playing another session tonight so maybe I can end up 2 buy ins down
One of those sessions where you raise and get multiple callers to the flop and then miss :pcuser: That fuckin slow bleed, where your stack never grows and you keep hitting top up. :profit:
The biggest fish at the table stacked me, his bitch ass AJo vs my Eastwoods ALL IN PRE :appl: I got him back later when I flopped the devils hand and miss clicked, I accidentally min bet  lucky he is a super aggro IDIOT with any pair :profit: and he raised and I went  and shoved. Bitch called me with top pair and the rest is history as they say. What's cool is I didn't tilt. NOT FUCKING ONCE. I am down a BI and even for the month (well still up 2 bucks :profit:). But I'm still like :challenge: :fuckyeah:

Check this out, found a pic of my old graph from way back 2013, it was my Skype PP. Can't remember if I posted this before. This was November. And in April 2014 I quit (or March). My graphs looked like this before I called it a day. Had way to much going on in my life to keep going. This might be 5nl or 2nl. I forget. I've also got hands from July that Stars sent me that I found in a old email, I remember I switched HUDs and it messed up my SNG games, was marking wins as losses for some reason. I asked Stars to send me ALL my hands and they only sent one month. Whatever. I'm going to load them up sometime and see how I was doing. If I can get HEM part 1 working.

Sup noobz.

I'M PLAYING FUCKING POKERZ TONIGHT :fuckyeah: It's been way too long, been busy with work and had to switch ISPs so was waiting on my netz to arrive, and when the netz got here I got busy with work again so no pokerz. :why:
Been watching some old tournament statz from way back in the day, grinderschool like upped all their vids to youtube and I have been going through some of the older tournament ones. It's very different to say how someone like Lex Veldhuis plays. Defiantly not as aggressive. Makes me feel super old cause back then I was watching and going :fuckyeah: and now I'm like :pcuser: I fucking dunno man I'm no xpert. But I still like watching it, there's something to be learn everywhere.

I tried importing my old hands from starz, but I saw it was a transcript of my last 1000 hands and hem part 1 wouldn't import that so fuckit. Can't live on past success or failures. But it would have been cool to know how I was doing, cause in my mind I was CRUSHING :truestory:
I actually was crushing (kinda), I was busy with a challenge where I was going to play 10000 HUSNG, at the $1 level, all because I saw someone on 2+2 say there's no money in HU and everyone is solid and I wanted to do a troll challenge similar to the dude that played 1 mil hands at 2nl. I did just over 2k HUSNG tournaments and had a profit of about $260 before I started to burn out and eventually quit. Thinking about it now, its kinda crazy because I was 1 tabling, most of the time. I tried 4 tabling exactly one time and lost every game, its way to fast and my brain isn't up to that kinda speed even though I was playing the normal speed games and not the turbos. For fucks sake why can't I have a Elon like brain? :why:

Anyways, thinking about jerking it quick before tonight session to clear the brain

Later noobz

I seriously need to get on some other site :ayfkm:
There were fockall tables. One 20nl table and it broke up after like 10min and then I went to 50nl (also only 1 table) and played one hand and then 20nl game started again so went back there and played like 4 handed for the next hour while players constantly sat out. :why:
Fuckit. I got an hour in, I had some fun while it lasted. And that's the point, I played :pcuser: I had fun  I made 3 bucks :profit:

I might try and run this shit back later. :challenge:

Same local only site I went back to playing on at the start of this year. The traffic is very low, but its okay I guess. I just wanna play. I've got a gg poker and opened a natural 8 account, both of which I still have to verify and deposit some $$$. Only reason I don't is at the moment deposits and withdrawals are super easy on current site. But for those other two I have to open a new bank account to be able to easily transfer money in and out of my skrill account. This wasn't an issue before when I had a netteller + card. But Those cards are no longer available to residents outside of the EU I think,I think that is what their support told me. Online gambling (casino games)is being advertised again everywhere, so I might end up playing on a new site in the new year, I hope  maybe stars :deadhappy:
But for now I will keep playing this way.

Sup noobz,

Didn't run anything back yesterday, its cool, spent the day watching movies instead. Going to play today, or more like practice. I've been using my last few Sundayz to get in some practice at the tables (except last Sunday there was no netz). What I do is play the afternoon freeroll and the evening points tournaments. And I play them hyper aggressive. This is the only poker that I will play today. I started doing this after I was thinking about how I can put all the theory into practice without the consequences that come with playing in a cash game or in a tournament (I'm still trying my bestest to win them). I used to play cash and sng along side them, but I am involved in almost every hand that I miss things going on at my other tables so I only one table these. I basically open any 2 cards as long as there has been no raises before me, and I will bluff at most flops, unless of course I flop something then I play for stacks. I also flat raises with any two as long as I have position, etc. In free rolls everyone tends to play a bit looser, but the points tournament is a bit different as the prize pool is bigger 2k vs 1k and players are a bit more tighter since they risked their points I guess, damn nits (you can only use your points for this tournament).
I don't know if this is helping me when I play my regular tournaments and my cash games (I still have to watch those back), but its fun to see how a table that was limpy and very loose all of a sudden just nit up and everyone is now trying their best to stack the crazy player at the table before someone else does. lol

Has anyone else tried this? You think freerollz and points tournaments which cost nothing are good places to get some practice in? I really like it cause I get to go Gus Hansen on mofos. And the player tilt in the chat when they see what you got is the best

One last thing, I hardly post hands cause I don't use a hud, I record my games, but what I want to know is if there is something online or free app that I can use to quickly add players and their chip sizes, bets on f t r, etc, so I can post my hands easier. As of now I have to type everything from scratch and I am super lazy when it comes to that (this will never change, unless i switch sites or my beloved stars comes back to me, their site still says "fuck you and your country").

One more last thing. I may, maaaaybe have a little bit of covid. My bro messaged me this morning saying he mentioned his symptoms to his gf and she says its sounds like he has it and we were around him 2 days ago. He can't go for his test as all 3 of his cars are broken, one is parking me in and now I can't go for a test, I can walk to the doctor right opposite, but I think I want the government to pay for my test (freeroll yo). I know it doesn't mean we have it or he has it, he did have it last year, it kicked him in his ballz for like 2 weeks. And I feel fine. Gonna Gus Hansen some noobz later. :challenge: He got some body aches and shit and some head stuff. But the point is, we gotta isolate until one of us or both of us gets tested.
And there is only one toilet roll left

Run goot noobz

Would this be PlayNow.com or perhaps its Quebec equivalent?

It used to be great before they "improved" the software. Now pretty much dead.

It's a pity your hugely amusing colourful prose has suffered from a single complaint.

It reminded me of a Christopher Hitchens "Best Hitchslap Ever" YouTube Video where he quoted,

"Shortly after completing his dictionary, Dr Samuel Johnson was visited by a delegation of London's "respectable womanhood".

They said: "Dr, we congratulate you on your exclusion of all indecent words". He said: "Ladies, I congratulate you on your persistence in looking them up"

"If people are determined to be offended - if they will climb up the ladder, balancing it precariously on their own toilet cistern, to be upset by what they see through the neighbour's bathroom window, there's nothing you can do".

Please carry on, what is a most enjoyable blog...

Ps. One complaint tho, your misuse of loser & looser, sends me on tilt!

Sup Noobz

I won't say happy new year, its to late for that and I'm not one of those bastards that say it after the 1st. I'll say "run fucking good, just not against me"
The last time I posted I was bitching about being down and had to look over my hands. I didn't look over my hands yet... BUT I have done the minimum amount of poker study that is required to beat idiots. So I am back up :profit: :appl:
I didn't look over the hands from any of my sessions since the loosing one or is it losing? Fucks the difference? BUT I did think about that shitty day. I was way to tired to be playing poker. I had spent the day doing poker study and looking over my hands and then playing poker. And then I went str8 into work study and then work practice and then work and then after all that I went back to poker to try and right what happened in the earlier session. And I did :truestory:
For like 15min or something and then I started playing on auto pilot. The last hand I so wrongfully got stacked in, this was my thought process :| okay :| okay :| fuck, you didn't think through anything". Aaaaaaaaaaaaand I didn't. I sat out immediately. I then expertly created a plan to look over my hands and see where I started to go wrong and then I got an email from poker site saying "yo dick head, the weekly and monthly tournament leader board is back and you should check it out". Wait what??? It's been years since this was a thing, so I was super happy about it and went to check it out. I AM NOT ANYWHERE NEAR ANYWHERE :pcuser:
So I made a new plan, I am going to grind tournamentz till I am at the top of the leader board where I rightfully belong.

So, I decide that the best time to start this grind would be on new years morning, cause everyone will be like fucking hung over and shit right? WRONG. There was more fucking traffic than usual. I go str8 to work with my Gus Hansen tactics, and its working right up until the point it doesn't. I fire 3 fucking bullets in this fucking rebuy BANG BANG BANG and I hit NOTHING!!! Everyone else at the table seems to have unlimited ammo, so I tuck my dick between my legz and leave the table
I haven't played that tournament since. I've stuck to cash and my weekly points tournament and the occasional freeroll for practice.
So no top of tournament leader board for me...:why:

Anyways, the minimum study and practice I've been doing is at GTO Wizard. I use that 10 free hands a day and try and work through them using Equiweb, so I am able to get some study in without having to move over to my windowz desktop. I really wanna get a pro subscription at some point, obvs when the bank roll is swol enough to afford it. But for now 10 hands is better than nothing. It's still a bit confusing to me when I think I've made a right play but GTO Wizard says "get the fuck outa here".

Still having trouble with tournaments, although its not as bad as before. I use my ultimate Gus Hansen strats to stomp noobz early on and build a powerful chip lead. BUT, middle stage and bubble play when rebuy period ends and the money bubble still needs a lot of work. ICMizer helped a lot with my push fold game. And Harrigtons on hold em has become my goto tournament strat guide. Tournament work seems to be a lot harder than cash game work. I feel like in cash games you get to see results a lot quicker. But with tournaments I've been looking at how I play in the spots that I struggle with and it takes a lot longer to get to those spots so progress is slow.

On the mental game side I think I've made the most progress as I've spent the most time trying to get this right. I won't say that I am completely tilt free, but it rarely pops up in my games at all now. I don't remember the last time I got angry while playing. Playing on auto pilot and playing while tired I still do, and this I am trying to fix, but as far as monkey ball tilt its been awhile.

Shit its late already and its almost supper time and I haven't worked out yet, you gotta beat that bitch outa you.

Later noobz
