rake diff between 5 and 10 is very small. The amount you will lose in EV by playing against somewhat better players - no matter how small the diff may be - will prolly be greater than what you gain in less rake paid.
Yes 25 will be better, but its not like you will be there any time soon when you just enter NL10 again. Numbers you gave for rake are prolly also cap af. There is no way rake goes down so hard between 10 and 25. And its not like you earn that much more from going one level up currently. so i dont get that either. Money will also never be an issue if u truly crush the game on micros. you either earn it youself or ask someone else for a quick stake. even in 6+ there should be people around who are happy to help good players with that no?
GL regardless ofc
Staking is not my thing def not when I'm on the learning coaster. I do see it more on the mid to high stakes but thats a pipe dream atm not even a goal for the first comming years.
About the winrate we can always discuss sample size but I think the way I keep track of my improvements and learning it's no big leap to take my last 3 months (43k hands) as reference. Here I am an EV winner of 7,7bb/100h (rake paid during these 43k hands - all 5NL - is $561 = 11220a which is 25.9bb/100h). So my conclusions are:
I'm not a short deck expert or crushing the micro's whatsoever but if I were to play on GG my graph would say 35bb/100 and perception would be more to move up.
By moving up 1 stake I don't think it's realistic to assume on long term my EV will go down 7bb/100h. Most important reasons are I understand I need to learn every day and I do it every day. I easily spend 1h a day reviewing hands, talking with my study group, ... and financial has no impact on my life and I truelly just want to be a winning regular player (but def not ever being a pro).
I do recon I was a BE player at best the better part of the beginning of my blog. But I never put in the hours I do now. Also working on the mental part has a huge effect on me.
And seriously thx for the good lucks!
