Just imagine how your BR looks if you run as much under EV as you ran above before.
Just my 2 cents, seems a bit irresponsible. Especially if you keep talking and should know about the variance this game brings

All very true. Normally i would stad longer at the stake but the main reason is that the rake is to huge on micros. At the current state the game is in the level between 5NL and 25NL is not that huge certainly if you compare it with no limit.

Second is i also have a set number to go down in stake and i would not concider it a personal failure.

Third it also has to be in your nature. I have someone in my study group who uses 200 full BI to go up in stake. And thats also very fine.

I like being aggressive if rake is so bad. But only if you have proven to yourself that you have what it takes to beat the current stake you play. I dont get why moving up is better when u barely beat the current stake. People wont be worse at 10$ games. Good luck anyways

Why not?

Study can mean a lot, and the comfort factor means a lot also.
If a player can play the next limit, why not give it a try? Eventually, mucking about at NL 2 and NL 5 gets to the point where you spend long hours winning nickels. When you get to that point, shoot for dimes. If it bites you move back down — if not keep on keeping on.

You are quite correct in one thing though — you can only play the limit you can afford. Both comfort level and dollar level need to be considered

Just to add on to the why I move up in stake is because since I have been studying the game more intense it shows on my EV graph. So that makes me confident (besides having the 100BI - 50a) I have a chance at NL10.

Graph of last 3 months, also this graph is after rake (not like on GG) and I have no rakeback. Rake for the micros is app 30-35a/100h, at 25NL it's 10-15a/100h so reaching that stake as aggressive as possible with BRM has a lot of advantages.

cause can play in terms of money is not the only thing that matters. No one would tell a losing NL2 player to just move up to NL10 if he won a random badbeat jackpot on GG or somethin. You need money+skill (and the comfort that comes with it) to move up. Ye you CAN move up sooner if runnin good but its most often nonsensical to do. As for the rake argument
rake diff between 5 and 10 is very small. The amount you will lose in EV by playing against somewhat better players - no matter how small the diff may be - will prolly be greater than what you gain in less rake paid.
Yes 25 will be better, but its not like you will be there any time soon when you just enter NL10 again. Numbers you gave for rake are prolly also cap af. There is no way rake goes down so hard between 10 and 25. And its not like you earn that much more from going one level up currently. so i dont get that either. Money will also never be an issue if u truly crush the game on micros. you either earn it youself or ask someone else for a quick stake. even in 6+ there should be people around who are happy to help good players with that no?

GL regardless ofc

Staking is not my thing def not when I'm on the learning coaster. I do see it more on the mid to high stakes but thats a pipe dream atm not even a goal for the first comming years.
About the winrate we can always discuss sample size but I think the way I keep track of my improvements and learning it's no big leap to take my last 3 months (43k hands) as reference. Here I am an EV winner of 7,7bb/100h (rake paid during these 43k hands - all 5NL - is $561 = 11220a which is 25.9bb/100h). So my conclusions are:

:spade: I'm not a short deck expert or crushing the micro's whatsoever but if I were to play on GG my graph would say 35bb/100 and perception would be more to move up.
:spade: By moving up 1 stake I don't think it's realistic to assume on long term my EV will go down 7bb/100h. Most important reasons are I understand I need to learn every day and I do it every day. I easily spend 1h a day reviewing hands, talking with my study group, ... and financial has no impact on my life and I truelly just want to be a winning regular player (but def not ever being a pro).
:spade: I do recon I was a BE player at best the better part of the beginning of my blog. But I never put in the hours I do now. Also working on the mental part has a huge effect on me.

And seriously thx for the good lucks!

Thank you very much, which 6+ Holdem solver are you using?

I have played around a bit with GTO6+ but it's to soon for me. I discovered rangeconverter a couple weeks ago and that has helped a lot, specially the 'play' part.
