Hand converted with online PokerStrategy.com hand converter:

Play hand

$1/$2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (5 handed)

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q:s, Q:d.
MP3 raises, Hero 3-Bets, BU folds, SB calls, BB calls, MP3 caps, Hero calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (16 SB) 4:s, 7:c, 4:h (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, MP3 bets, Hero raises, SB 3-Bets, BB folds, MP3 caps, Hero ??

MP3 stats: 19/18/0.7/50, 100 hands
SB stats: 48/23/4.0/47, 120 hands

What do you think? Is this foldable? MP3 has only 0.7 AF and I think he would cap only KK+ here.

omg the pot size is so huge, even draw to two outs,1:11 or 1:10 is enough to call......

as the turn play, all depend the action,SB`s cold call 3bet range and your read on MP3......

I think it is foldable. I really wonder if such a passive guy can cap JJ or TT there. It's KK+ most of the time. And we need 22:1 to call for set ...
But I guess that during the game I won't be able to fold it :-)

agree. under normal circumstance i would not even think for one moment about folding QQ but in that particular case i don'T mind folding even with QQ.

I folded, he had JJ and the other guy had A8o. Really weird results.

Hi!

I have been thinking about such spots a lot latelly and I think just cd from flop on is hardly to be a mistake even though it seems weak as hell but Im quite confident its a fine play.

There are quite a few factors that favour cd:
- MP3 is very tight and his range is QQ+AK most of the time making you a slight dog; sure his range is wider since sometimes he has AQ,JJ,TT or something wierd but then getting 3bet is ugly again
-protection is quite irrelavant since only AK has a lot of outs against you and MP3 will never fold it before the river; against SB protection is not an issue at all
-you want SB to stay in the hand by just calling to draw with his probably close to drawing dead hand
-for balancing reasons you make you cd range stronger since its usually very weak on board like this

I would much more preffer to raise with 99 than QQ here.

I would have to be dangling over boiling oil to fold this.

The MP3 is 19/18, that's not that passive, it's tight yes but that doesn't mean passive. He has the PFR of a standard TAG, his VPIP is just tight. A few years ago when I was playing 25/18 I'd have capped way wider than KK+. It's a low board and he could easily be over-valuing an overpair and the pot's huge.

Also consider that the SB is a lunatic and may just 3-bet becasue it's fun and "I can rep a 4" or "He has AK my 7 is awesome" etc.

Don't overthink these situations, you had value to raise on the flop and now the pot's massive and you can legitimately beat both players. Raising again is probably spew, not that we can raise anyway but I'm thinking future streets, and I think folding is out

So that leaves one option.
