TT, how bad was it played?

with small effective stacks, getting it in on that flop is no crime.

OTOH, pre-flop villain open-raises 7BB -- this is weird, and should definitely make you think overpair.

I'm going to bet that some other people disagree with me though

It's to bad you don't have reads on him, but his 7x raise is weird. Sometimes a a 3bet shove is a option as well for 52bb effective. A normal 3bet to like 40c with 62c behind isn't a great option I think. Post-flop seems fine, but his sizing is crappy for sure.

You made a mistake before even playing the hand. Use a full-stack.

With this short stack you might as well just jam preflop.

Yeah I don't have the funds to top up and play 200bb, I have days where I win a bunch and days where I lose a bunch I am not a winning player and my bankroll is limited, yesterday I had 10$ remaining so I was buying in for 40bb so I can win less but also lose less . I was on tilt 2 days ago and lost 5 buy ins and yesterday I went all in pre with AK versus villain holding KJ both times he hit the J and that one hurt. In this hand villain showed up with 34 he flopped a 2 pair , I think maybe I should have put it all in pre or something, Idk if I wanted to call the flop bet villain has 60cents behind and the pot would be 90c. idk kind of gross maybe a laydown pre-flop because I didnt know the player type and if he held AK it was coinflop any overpair I was crushed

The 52 bb stack size makes it awkward if we had villain covered it makes it an easier 3bet and gii pre.I wouldn't read to much in to villains raise size pre they look aggressive and spewy. Albeit only over a small sample but the stack size kind of backs up that assumption. And i think TT is going to be ahead of villains stack off range here by quite a wide margin.Because of the awkward stack size id probably say shoving to iso is likely the best option.But i'm by no means sure it's the best play here.

No never folding you want to play for villains stack it's just your stack size leaves it a little awkward.Looking again it's only 4 handed and you only have 1 player left to act behind you which makes shoving a little more favourable.There isn't really any other 3bet size you can make with this stack size other than shove really.But the more players left to act behind you the less desirable shoving 52bb becomes.Villains just looking to put his money in the middle and gamble.

If you don't have the necessary bankroll funds to play poker comfortably to survive all the inherent variance, then I think you should consider not losing your time trying to learn because you'll get frustrated seeing you doing everything ok but still losing because of variance.

With 10$ you should go for 25cents sit and gos.

Sit n gos are donkey bingo they are hard to control the outcome if your a tight player the blinds increase too fast, Thanks for looking out I’ll be fine.I have been doing ok in the past month winning and losing but not having to spend much of my actually money, I am learning quickly once I learn enough I will be able to hold onto my money and build it

Ah o'k i just see the 15 hands in that case i'm not to sure what the best play is here given the stack size.
