Softest poker room out there?

Reg tables are easier to beat than zoom or fast tables but the rake and bonuses can differ between them from site to site so depends what your looking for on that point.As for sites what country are you in as Governments have seen fit to treat poker players like 2 year olds these days.So it depends where you can play how long you can play for and how much of your own money they will let you spend each week on poker.But likely stars is still a good option along with GG poker and party poker but ipoker skins are making a comeback with Bet fair having a great deal with some affiliates.Then you have other sites like Unibet which offer micro stakes players the lowest rake available.And ACR Americas card room seems to be a popular choice these days with some sites allowing huds and others banning them.So it's all about looking for what suits your individual needs the best really. gl.

I'm a UK resident, so should have access to most poker rooms out there. Would prefer to have HUD as I usually play with HM3 active .

888poker is a decent option as well I think. Offcourse you could play on Unibet as well, but than you can't use a Hud.

Forgot about 888 why not try a few sites you haven't got accounts on and clear some first deposit bonuses before deciding on a site.

Positives and Negatives

Ipoker
If you can get a good rake back deal it might be worth your while. However there is no multi tabling cap, and games are reg infested at peak hours. Note taking is almost impossible during game play. Colour coding of players is invisible to the naked eye. I am not making it up. Although a HUD is allowed.

Party Poker
Toughest site by far for cash games. Even at 2nl expect to see four regs/mass tablers at each table. I suspect PP has a bot infestation also. When I have jumped on to play Fast Forward from reg tables the same mass tablers are also playing Fast Forward. How a normal person plays 15 reg tables and several FF tables is beyond me. Either they are superhuman, or bots. However, the MTTs at PP are still relatively soft.

888Poker
High rake cap. 5hit software making tiling impossible unless you play on a 32" monitor. Note taking almost impossible during game play. Colour coding is a tiny little square although an improvement on ipoker's novel invisible colour system.

Pokerstars
Aurora software is not as good as the old Pokerstars but still playable. Table cap restricted to four tables now. Meaning the games are not as reg infested as PP and ipoker. New rake back system under trial which is very good at 25% min, coupled with the lowest rake online.

Hands down Pokerstars for me. It's not perfect but is the best option from the others I have mentioned.

I tile up to 6 888 tables on a 27", but used to do it on a 22.

When PP removed the ability to use trackers, one of the common complaints that it is no longer possible to detect bots, collusion etc.

I completely agree with RedsYNWA's suggestion regarding trying several.
On of the ones I would try would be KKPoker -- but I hate playing on my phone.

No. But PP have several times in the last year banned bot accounts en masse. But I have to ask, is it humanly possible to play 15 reg tables and Fast Forward at the same time? The FF games are much quicker than Zoom at Stars.

This was back in the day of "Supernova Elite" rakeback, when it was possible to be break-even (or even slightly less) and make a decent living on the rakeback.

those days are long gone, but I imagine that there are player capable of mass-multi-tabling.

As for soft rooms I'd imagine most are practically the same at the lower stakes. Just a matter of finding the room of your preference and the one that fits your needs.

The over reliance on rakeback deals etc always amused me and still does. If you can't beat a game due to rake etc, find a different game type where you can or a different hobby.

Sit and Go poker is dead. Its all Jackpot SNG now, something I personally do not play.

^ I agree that most of the rooms at lower stakes are quite soft and as someone else mentioned Regular tables are generally softer than Rush/Zoom tables.

I've found the player pool on GG to be soft, although I play PLO, I've heard the NL tables are the same in terms of softness.

I agree a bit with this, I have played mtt in party and in FT they were almost always the same players and used the same time to act.

I don't like the software at all, is it very slow, programmed in Java?
Even so, the level is low in mtts.

Back in my SnG days I got up to 12 tabling, but I had to move to stacked tables because I couldn't deal with moving my mouse all over the screen (that was before I discovered hot keys, but once I got used to stacked I never went back)... When I played Double-or-Nothings on Party I could stack 8 (I'm old)
I had software that would bring the active table to the top of the stack, and I could pull up to 3 tables out of the stack if there was something important going on.
Since I've been streaming, I max at 6 active tables.
There's so much stream management going on that it is hard to manage more tables.

I've watched your stream a few times and I don't know how you do it (or any streamer really). I am not a multi-tasker at all, there is no way I could play, manage the stream, and engage chat all at once. I can barely play and listen to music at the same time... (seriously).

I agree about the music
When I was working, I did some software development, and sometimes when tracking down a bug it required intense concentration.
Then a song would come on the secretary's radio, and my brain would switch focus to the song, and I would have to start over.

After streaming for three years, it has now got to the point where sometimes I can't even remember what the last song was.

On the other hand, I can practically sing all my playlist from memory.

I was thinking he was playing so many cash game tables. Didn't know he played so many SNG's at the same time as well.

I vaguely remember ElkY getting into the Guinness Book of Records for the most SnGs played in an hour while turning a profit.

At the PCA one year, nannoko decided to play as many hands as he could in 8 hours. He ended up playing around 24k hands for around $7 profit.
