Hey longtherm that is way +EV so do not worry. If that is stressing you, go with a tighter BRM. I for example will use at least 30 Stack BRM for the lowest limit (going down on the lowest limit if I only have 30 Stacks left). On higher limits I will increase it to 50 or even 100 Stacks. That helps me at least with the swings.

Nice blog!

Curious as to your thoughts on the Rush & Cash player pool on GGPoker in general?

Is it as soft as people say?

Has it got more difficult over time or still about the same?

How do the fields compare to other sites that you've tried this variant in?

It's amazing that 8♥:3♥: would 3Bet, though why you didn't just shove pre...
This illustrates one of the things I despise about GGPoker. To find the starting stacks you need to work back, and in this case it appears he just had a big stack and was playing "get pushy pre and hope that they fold".

Yes, I realize that, however I've noticed that there are players who get a bit maniacal when they have a big stack.
And you're right, no need to shove for the 4Bet, but I would def shove if SB raised again

Hopefully some better weeks ahead for you sir!

Did you bother trying to play the big Overlay event that GG held?

Ooof!

Well at least that's one knocked off the bucket list

Worst beat imaginable!

Happened me in a tournament once 99 vs 33. Flop 9XX then running 3s!

Might be good to go back to NL2 even for confidence sake!

Like it that you have the discipline to move back to NL2, :f_thumbsup: you will get back up soon enough. That is one nasty bad beat.

This is the one after I decided I will stick to tournaments :mdr: :mdr:

In my case I haven't played cash games since I started poker about 13 years ago....I started in 2010 with some cash games for a year or 2 and then made the switch to tournaments. I tried cash games when I started my first challenge here on the forum, (and also after I got my GG account set up) but decided to stick to tournaments :mdr: soon after :sifflote:

@Winsomelosesome

Wow you have a bad streak as well with real bad beats. Keep it up, since you always seem to have the equity. :)

Those pesky 1-outers!
May your luck be way better in the GGCares flipout! I'm sure you qualify!

EXACTLY the same question I had in my mind - how many tourneys did you take part in so far? I had like 10 without cashing (but usually had 5k or 10k chips only)

Hand #1
He selected cashout to protect against a 2-outer?
He won't last long!

Nice call on the second hand though!

What a blog. So many bad beats and than i see a royal flush at the end :appl:. Another blog i need to follow :f_thumbsup:

.

I think GG would also to be the best place for me to grind the lower levels. But i'm waiting till the tracking to Pokerstrategy is fixed before i switch from Pokerstars.

That is the second blog post I've seen in the past few minutes that featured a GGPoker Royal.
I hope you got some form of Big Hand Jackpot payout for that.

I would play more on GGPoker, but there are quirks there that bug me — primarily the river card reveal.
I'm also a bit annoyed at their lack of transparency — for example, why does pokercraft graphs ignore rake?
The fish point payout rate isn't the same for everyone — and I think it should be.

Oh well. You're right about the promos though.

Congrats on the win. I also got chips for GGcare from Royal but for losing to a one with FH, managed to cash in 24$ with a 33k starting stack (those flips are crazy :f_confused: )

GL @ the tables

21% equity on the turn — nice river.
the set of 3s player must have choked on his coffee when that river landed. AA player might have just sighed though.

I see that CO declined cashout — is run it multiple times still an option on GGPoker?
