You also get a better red line by being good at thin value betting. Sometimes they fold = red line, and sometimes they call with worse = blue line, or spazz out with worse = blue line. If I were you I'd consider turning off everything but the green line, or even better, not plotting graphs. I know it's hard for mathematicians, but it's for the best.

In some not so good other news, mrsgadget's best friend is having a torrid time and is virtually destitute; so, we invited her to Christmas dinner and to stay for a few days. In a happier vein, we are having our house refurbished in January by the local council in some sort of Euro-promo type thingy, to bring it up to some standard the bigwigs in Brussels have come up with I think. Woo hooo and rungood us!
So that'll be rads in all rooms and a combi-boiler, a new bathroom and power shower - tiled and floored of course! A new kitchen with tiles and flooring, new wiring and double glazed windows and doors; wall and loft insulation and a nice new electric fire and surround. Sorted. ♠_cool:

Oh and BT are giving me fibre optic broadband for free as well. Apparently I'll get like 37MB download speed instead of my currently 3rd world 1.1. I've heard that kind of thing before.

I just wonder in a 4bet pot OOP if KQ is ok versus a tight fish/reg, it just seems the old domination issues ocurr too often. Not that I can't fold anything of course, folding is my forte!

I do like the 4bet. Against a reg I wouldn't mind even just flatting KQ. But against a nittier guy I wouldn't mind including KQ in my 4bet bluffing range with blockers. Even nits can 3bet/fold!

But then again I'm not quite sure how nitty you are, so I don't know how nitty this guy is either. Whether or not it's a good 4bet depends on how much he 3bets I guess. In a vacuum I'd say it's good that you 4bet here, if only because it means you may be on the way to becoming less of a nit

I do agree Tino. I just assumed that a nittier player then Mal played 12/10 or something like that. And then I think it might be overkill. But thats what I think, good chance I'm wrong

But yes, this guy can 3bet/fold and limp/fold utg if that makes any sense. The problem with this player pool is getting them to fold IP, whether to 3bet or 4bet, a large proportion of regs flat. It makes it tougher than it needs to be on this site, so I tend to shy away from all that mallarky a bit. See? Nit.

How do they play IP in a 3b pot? If you cbet 1/2 pot size they only need to fold 33% to auto profit. Maybe they like floating once and fold turn. They can't call all the time IP and call down post flop.

That may be true, but it sucks bigtime to be oop in a 3bet pot, I just never know with these guys where I'm at; they can be quite sticky and I know they rarely fold a pp.
But to cut the excuses out, I'm just crap oop in 3bet pot.

I got rid of a load of stuff from my HUD yesterday after seeing RasTweet's advent calendar. Very pretty Ras.

The stats for some of these things take too long to converge and I'm confident I will be moving to nl50 by the summer, barring accidents and any of the other negative crap that interferes with these things. But my skill isn't great so I can wait a bit.

No FPS hands this time round.

In other news, mrsgadget managed to bite through her (really expensive) electric toothbrush I got her for Christmas, panicked and swallowed the damned brushy head bit.
