This is good news β will they be segregated from the rest of the world?

Yes- us based players are still segregated.
I donβt thing there will ever be a world poker siteβ¦. Are states are to interested with getting there resources from online gamblingβ¦ $$$$$&&
You would think that it would be fairly easy to tax poker sites based on where they players were from.
I especially miss the US players, because many of them played the traditional games like draw, lowball and stud
Well first let me say Happy New year to all!! I wish you all a very successful 2023 in POKER.
I didn't have much to right about so I figure I take a trip down good ole memory lane. When this poker journey started 2019 or at least when I started tracking how much I didn't know about poker. 2019
Results and volume from 2019:

So this is the start like everyone else I thought I knew what poker was and how to play the game. I thought I knew what I was doing.
Onward to 2020 and my first staking:

Started to learn what the heck I was doing, put in some good volume and study and got some results.
Next came my best year 2021:
which I was very happy with. I thought this would have set me up nice for 2022, but in the end that didn't end up happening, it became my worst year playing poker, not to much volume and not to much study, life took hold. The crazy part to me, is that I still enjoyed playing the game. NOT everyday of course, but I enjoyed it.

I am looking forward to seeing what 2023 will bring. Again wish you all the best and KEEP Grindin'
I didn't forGET!!! Had lots of things going on. I had a new baby boy introduced into the world on Feb 22nd. Then work has been just mad. Been playing some online POKER THO.. Not much live.
Well let me post this year, on a little upswing, didn't start the year off great, but kept the grind on.

I think possible my issue besides running a little bad last year, was that I was way to passive, even in teh beginning of this year. At least it kinda feels like that. Only time will tell.
Well good luck on the felt !! keep grindin'

so I am aware that this open is wider then your average bear, table was playing tight.
also am aware that 3 bet call is wide, but I called mainly as his sizing was a little low.
flop call- process was he is a 90 cbettor so his cbet range is super wide, if he hits anything on flop he bets it and lots of air.
turn same idea his cbet is 50 which we still need to keep in mind that going from 90 to 50 isn't really a huge drop off, cause he starts his betting so wide it stays wide on turn, also picking up equity with a BDFD gives me a little incentive, but I could be drawing dead to it, as possible to what he is betting to.
river- once villain checks I think it is really hard for me not to bluff, I can take my SD value but with a big enough bluff size I can get out 55,77,99, maybe 10's. which is quiet possible with his wide range also we are looking to get ride of all his Ax suited A4 not many A6 which he could barrel. the last deeming factor I used was his WTSD only being 24. I looked at this number before I called the 3bet knowing that he is willing to lay hands down.
Well this is a very nice example of having a postflop plan to exploit the villain when given a chance. Seek and destroy. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the hand π
here is a little crusty one.

pre- UTG and Co are rec, SB isn't a rec but not a reg.
I made teh call as Co has a pretty nice stack, and may be ing to double me up, so some pot odds, and I know they aren't suited. My biggest issue some times is that I play to ABC, so I like to mix in whacky hands and bluffs which has helped to get paid off more,
flop- well we flop nothing, maybe a backdoor str8,ehhhh. not really. So the SB and raiser check, So at this moment time the only person I am concerned with is raiser, as he hold a decent amount of Queens. Half pot bet is just a shot in teh dark, it will get out all low pairs 33-88, most FD will call, a queen will call and open ender, and overs Ak
Turn -King no bueno, Ak get there open ender get there and FD right now is teh only things that doesn't get anything.. DAM!!!!.. so we check away. My thought before I check is that if any of these 2 villains hit the K or made a hand they are probably leading out on river.
River- So technically o would guess this is minus EV.. So once both villains checked on river, the ONLY person top bet at this pot was me. Besides pre flop and the initial raise, NO ONE has done anything. Am I worried about a pair of kings yes, but my SD value is nothing, I dont block any draws.. Player in SB wasn't a calling station WTSD was a 23, so wasn't concerned much about him, but as for Co the raiser he was a 33 WSD. I ended up deciding to pot it, on teh idea that ifs anyone hit anything solid they would have lead river with teh turn check through.
One more hand. This is a blunder hand. DUMB betting by me.

pre- okay
flop- went with teh bigger bet as I wanted to build teh pot if villain had hit any part of it, any pair he calls any draw and any jack. so fine with this.
Turn- I think I got to excited, what does and over bet do here?WTF am I thinking. I have teh basic nuts, I want him to hit a FLUSH if that is his draw, the only had calling is trip 3's maybe AJ. in hindsight I think I should have checked or gone really small. like 25% pot, looking like I was on a draw.

I have posted my March results earlier than expected, despite not planning on playing too much more this month. It has been my best month in over a year, and I attribute it to some changes I made to my play style. However, I am unsure if this success is due to variance or my new approach. I will need to play around 50,000 more hands to determine this. I hope to maintain this positive momentum going forward. We will see what happens. Also hopefully I keep my posts up on site as well, but with 3 kids, full time job and everything else going on, it takes time. Cheers be safe all!! any question??

Oh, so pretty!
(and even better that you got paid!)
here's a goody, from today.
so lets start per flop- opening no issue. then comes a bet and a call. so at this point the caller of the 3bet, not to concerned, when I go for any 4 bet I am worried first about the aggressor, because he has the possibility, to be holding all AA,KK,QQ and a whole lot of KQ AQ AK combos. SO now the paginal 3 better has a fold to 4 bet of 88% I have played like 1k hands with him. So my thinking on this was, that I am holding an ACE, so I block him from having a whole lot of hands, also I am UTG my starting RFI is pretty tight like 10-14% hands. So let's give it a shot. Well, it got teh 3bettor out of the hand and the villain that Coldcalled the 3 bet calls. This immediately makes me think he has a pocket pair 55-1010 and probability some KQ AQ combos, but we also block with the ACE again.
flop-small bet I now know after his call that I pretty much hold all the AA and KK also a few combos of JJ and QQ I am pretty sure villain would have blasted off Preflop if he held any of the AA KK. So we 1/4 pot bet for value, but technical a naked bluff. we get called.
Turn- so no that this matter to much in this hand we pick up str8 blockeer with my 5. villain has a good chance to have a set of 6's r 7's as that is what I ranged him. so for this fact I am checking to give him a chance to bet at the pot, which if he did stab at it, I would fold.
one little fact I also forgot his cold cold pre flop 3 bet is 39% so he also like to call wide. But, villain didn't bet so we are onto the river. Blank
River- once villain checks to me again IP, I am pretty sure he didn't make any sets, AS after my check on turn he would be leading, and hoping I call with AA KK QQ. so at this point there was just one thing to do, BLAST OFF. I considered just checking, my issue with that was with villain having a 39% 3bet cold call, he is able to call with A10,AJ, AQ which are all hands we lose too if we check, but there isn't a way they could call a huge bet.

Next hand from today, WHEN THE ACE HIGH FD BLUFF DOESNT WORK.
Pre- could be a little wide to call, maybe a 3 bet, but I figured I had a post flop advantage vs this villain.
flop- no issues make top pair, hold the back door nut flush./
turn- double check, I figure if villain had an ace he slow down, id he had any kind of draw he bet, or with a 9. maybe I miss read my stats as villains cbet was 53 on flop then 25 on turn, so maybe he wouldn't be willing to be all FD.
river- the 6 is interesting as being the pre flop caller, I hold a bunch of 9's and 9 combos once turn isn't bet. I hold suit 10 7 and 7 5's so I have a few value hands, and of course the elephant in the ACE of diamond for the nut flush. so once villain bet 2/3 pots I was leaning him to having more Ax hands and just being slow with it. villain WTD was 21( so he showed he could fold) so with the ACE I decide to 3x raise. OPPS!
conclusion- it could have ended up a lot worse, I dont mind the play I would be curious if I bet bigger if villain would have folded, because at that point he has the 4th nuts. things to work on for next time.
Same villain from above hand.

results for day kinda crazy.

GOOD LUCK ALL
#1 haha, nice magic trick against I assume recreational player. I wonder if smaller bet wouldnt be better as it also puts 99-TT in difficult spot and AQ/AT folds anyway.
#2 Do you think people are good enough to consider folding hand as strong as JdTd there especially if you think he is weaker player?
BTW Is there program like StarsCaption for MacOS? I would love to play on my mac, but lack of autosizings is annoying.
both hands are against I wouldn't say a reg and I wouldn't say a rec. As for second hand i was wondering the same thing, I think you would be able to get some folds.
I do not us caption, I just us PT4, and that is all.
What do you mean lack of auto sizing, I don't understand that. I play on PS and i have my bet sizing set by percentages.
