Playing at least 1 SnG/a day and listening to a coaching video 10min/a day is super nice! I haven't taken this journey before.
Cutting out foreign markets in gamedev at the moment; to avoid exhaustion and be happy.
Back from parents' place with kids, it was so lonely there! Turns out they live in an isolated forest in swampland. I once grew up there and escaped quickly to nearest towns.

It wasn't very peaceful as my older sister just left her kid there and went to England for a week.
The far forest is definitely great for meditation, but this time was quite fast action heavy ♦
Another day playing few 0.10β¬ SnGs and watching 10min of coaching video. Made few smallish mistakes but the session I got +0.02β¬. I now have the roll to play 0.20β¬ SnGs also; and I have 85/100 of Reward points to get +1β¬.
Yesterday we went snowboarding/sleigh to really big mountain with kids and gf; I just jumped on kids snowboard and tried to go downhill but it went so fast I made quite a flight before landing on my chest and sliding on. Extreme sports for the win! Tried another big hill attempt but also fast fall and rolling-bumping down sideways. Then chose slower pace and could master the kids snowboard a bit; you know the one that has just the rope to hold on an nothing else on. Super funny skills, like a skateboard but the speed gets faster if you are not careful ♦
I would love to do more winter sports, and snowboarding in particular sounds very interesting, but unfortunately, it's just not the right area over here.
We did, however, get a fair bit of snow last night. Here's the view from my balcony today:
Here, at my place, it very rarely snows. Winters are quite boring, just cool weather and rain, grey sky and fog. But at the moment, itΒ΄s -3Β°C cold here and we also got a decent amount of snow. ThatΒ΄s very cool, I like it, this is REAL winter!

I used to to ski a lot β I lived at Whistler for 3 winters. I could never snowboard though. Just the thought of not being able to move my feet independently gives me feelings of panic

When I was kid I was really afraid of skateboards, one of my friends had one and it always slipped away fast when I stepped on it. I only started skateboarding when my kids started to ride bicycles, then I just took their skateboard to keep up. I haven't tried fixed-feet snowboarding either.

Creative space happening at workplace!(2hour extracurricular workshop). 7 kids greet me after Christmas break, they arrive their dream destination 30min earlier than it should start. "Teacher has come! We can enter!" they shout to others who have been waiting behind the corner in the hallway.

Will also go to big journey together with girlfriend, near end of February, to Gran Canaria island together with our two sons (9 and 7 year olds). The whole thing is almost two weeks as she decided it is inside Europe. I love Canary Islands, we have been there before when our first son was 1 years old. We even stayed in a cave in Tenerife for a while back then...
Quite a year the last year. Thinking about buying Silver status maybe in summer 2026, as it looks very big and $5/month is something that could be really nice for motivation, training. At the moment a bit on break from the intense studying/playing cycle in 2024 and 2025. Learned a ton and quite impressed with how my NLHE skills have improved over the past 1,5 years.
Gamedev looks like a really interesting future, pulling back a bit, bought some good alcohol-free beers and planning to creative write some games and chill at home the next few days...
