I usually just facepalm and tell myself I'm an idiot and keep playing. The key is to just not care about it. You did something stupid, but it happened so you can't change it anymore. So why continue worrying about it?

Of course if a stupid mistake causes you to lose focus, then taking a short break probably works very well. Doesn't need to be a very long break usually either imo, just 5-15 minutes to clear your mind and then get back to grinding.

looking some more into it, i feel like i lose focus more because of the accumulated emotion resulting from previous running bad, so my mind goes like "this game sucks i can't win etc".
