Guess hero's hand and win $50!

We teach you to think in ranges rather than specific hands, but in this instance narrowing a holding down to two cards could win you $50.

Guess the hand
Usually you have to make snap, split-second decisions at the poker table but we're being generous and giving you a week to guess what hand hero is holding and why.

Check out the hand history below and post your guess (plus your explanation of why you think this is hero's hand) before 23:59 CET on August 11 in our forum thread:

You have until 23:59 CET on Sunday, August 11 to post your guess and explanation in our dedicated forum thread.

Note that you must explain your thought process in choosing this hand; "random" guesses will not be considered. Each member is allowed one guess per hand.

When the deadline is closed, all users who guessed correctly will be entered into a raffle and the winner will be drawn at random; the winner receives $50 in their Tell-a-Friend account at the end of the promotion week.

If you don't guess correctly this week, no worries - keep an eye out for next week's hand history and have another attempt!

Of course, we know from the craziest poker hand of all time that our guesses still might be very wrong - who would have thought that AAROOKIE had only a pair of fours there?
