DREAMC4T on his Bankroll challenge success
Swedish community member DREAMC4T tells us how he jumped from 1k to 5k in no time at all.
Last time out we shared the story of DemonRax completing his Bankroll Challenge, today we have another recent winner.
dreamc4t recently became the fastest ever bankroll challenge winner when he turned $1k into $5k in just four weeks.
We caught up with the man himself to learn how he did it, and what comes next:

Firstly, congratulations on being the quickest Bankroll challenger so far. I guess you play without a bankroll management, then?
dreamc4t: Thanks a lot! No, I most definitely play with bankroll management. In this case I stepped up a level when I had 25 bi's and was ready to drop down to 20 again.
Does the mind-set play an important role for you? How do you cope with loosing 4 stacks in a row or never hitting a set for the full session?
dreamc4t: I'd be lying if I said it doesn't affect me, but I guess it affects me less than others. But I do find myself chasing losses rather than surfing on the winning wave when sitting longer sessions in general.
With all these winnings in such a short time, do you consider yourself a professional player?
dreamc4t: I am a professional player, haha! I've been playing full time for 4-5 years now. My roll was on a low point due to downswing and travelling and giving myself my first proper 100%-break-from-poker-vacation.

Is your girlfriend allowed to spend everything?
dreamc4t: I don't have a girlfriend at the moment, but if I did SHE'D GET IT ALL. Jokes aside do you buy love? Nope.
Who is your end boss in Poker and what is your ultimate poker goal?
dreamc4t: I'm quite slacky when it comes to taking shots and moving up in stakes. I'm very confident at my current level, making enough to lead a great life so there's no current end boss that I plan on taking on any time soon. But I guess the likes of Ben Sulsky and Doug Polk are the end bosses in general? My poker goal right now is to ship a major Sunday tourney while trying not to be too hungover.
What is your biggest pot?
dreamc4t: I can't recall my biggest pot, but I lost a pot playing a live game for €6k during the Swedish Championships in November which stung a bit.
What are your hobbies outside of Poker?
dreamc4t: Wakeboarding, wall climbing, music, surfing, partying, etc.
You started the Gemstone promo this month, how do you get along with the opponents on ipoker?
dreamc4t: I've played 10k hands so far and tried to soak up as much of the meta-game as possible. I've been staying on NL50 for now, but plan to move up eventually. I've been running pretty badly and got hung up on some tendencies that I don't see in other poker rooms. I think the meta-game, in tendencies and trends at least, vary quite a bit from network to network and takes a few hands to get the hang of. But, in general, the regs are tighter and have a different playing style compared to the guys I usually play against.
What are your top 3 pieces of advice for players who also want to move up to where you can earn serious money in regards to playing, game plan and exploits?
dreamc4t:
1. Don't overcomplicate
2. Table selection!
3. Don't focus to hard on playing GTO, but rather sound, smart, exploitative poker.
So, to use the analogy, do you think there are still plenty of fish in the sea?
dreamc4t: Yeah, as we all know there used to be more fish, but poker will never die, life will find a way.
