Community Round Up feedback thread
Hot Thread of the Week
It has been scientifically proven that reading the Community Round-up won't improve your knowledge on the feeding habits of African predators nor will it help you win a staring contest against Phil Ivey. With that said, it is safe to conclude that this whole weekly digest of latest happenings in our community won't help you all that much if you ever find yourself face to face with a hyena or even worse, Ivey, with nothing but a stone-cold bluff in your hand and praying that he doesn't soul read you.
However, this round-up does serve as a beacon for all the interesting news out there, so that they don't get swallowed and lost in the sea of topics and what not flooding PokerStrategy.com on daily basis. As such, this week's thread under the spotlight came to life thanks to fryandspicy.
Topic of this thread are pointless hobbies. Besides the growing number of videos featuring various hobbies, the thread also has an interesting opening story to it all, as to why it was created in the first place and so on. If you wish to find out more or contribute some of your own discoveries of pointless hobbies, stop by in this week's hottest thread (it's so hot it can keep your hands warm in these winter days for us living in the currently non-summer parts of the world).
Poker Blog of the Week
It's another one of those classical stories - A boy meets a social network, finds out he can also play poker on it, learns a bit about the game and eventually bumps into PokerStrategy.com. Going from your facebook fish tank to the open seas of the real money poker world can be a scary experience indeed.
So how is our little fish of this story doing? Blogging under his alias crodady, this Croatian shark in the making has already provided us with various info on his poker endeavours and it seems those updates just keep on coming in his blog. If you wish to check him out, give him a tip or perhaps learn something yourself, go take a look at his little creation that has engraved itself on PokerStrategy.com as the poker blog of this week.

Performances of the Week
It has been been the grinders week, as many PokerStrategists worked their way towards 4-digit profits the hard way - through winning numerous tournaments. Cash game players reported their share of successes this week as well, whether it be their overall performance in December or one of those good days at rush poker. Below are some of the most notable performances by our members this week:
- emanuelc16 demolished NL10 rush poker.
- jass1960 won a total of $2,993.81 in various tournaments.

One Million in a Year - Total Winnings (Week 19): $309,885.13
We have entered 2011, however, we still have one final week of 2010 to report. With a little bit under $10k earned, we have sealed the 2010 chapter of our poker books and we can now readily pounce on the tournaments in this year. Whether you are aiming at the big tournaments or some smaller ones, even the freerolls, remember that all of your winnings will make a difference in our chase for the One Million in a Year.
