Hot Poker Thread of the Week
Ever wanted to stake someone but didn't know what deal would be good for you? skibula found himself in such a situation this week, as his friend asked him to stake him. While Skibula considers his friend a very skilled live poker player, the question in his mind remains the same - what staking deal should he make?
The ongoing discussion has reached many twists and turns until now, as in this case you not only have to worry about making a profitable deal for you, but also take into account the "friendship" factor. As the mind hazing title of this community round-up suggests, prepare to meet dilemma and prepare to meet resolution in the hottest thread of this week.
Poker Blog of the Week
Hiding behind a silverish rank icon on our forum is an NL100+ player exitium. He's been playing poker for nearly a year now and after a rough start, he managed to earn $25-30k this summer. With his bankroll being just above $42k, he decided to set a goal for himself - reaching a $100k bankroll!
To help him focus more on improving his game and finding any leaks in it, he has started a blog in which you can follow his road to the $100k goal. He plays cash games as well as tournaments and regularly provides updates, whether it be in the form of graphs, hands from his sessions or anything third that pops up in his mind.
For the past few weeks we have been having a flood of big goals from our community members and it seems that PokerStrategy.com aquarium has now gained one more Great White shark blogger (translation in meaningful English: a highly skilled player with equally high goals). If you wish to track Exitium's road to his current goal, you can do so by reading his blog:
