Poker Blog of the Week
There are fewer MTT blogs in comparison to cash game and SNG blogs, naturally so as they are perhaps harder to master. One such highly respected MTT player however is community member sirilidion who many members will remember from the Battle of the Donkeys and other community events.
Quiet, unassuming but often running deep into tournaments and happy to blog the bad as well as the good, I would highly recommend sirilidion's blog as a great read with a nice cup of tea/coffee. Go on get the kettle on.

New Community Member of the Week
A big warm welcome to all new community members this week.
Included amongst them is randomly chosen new community member of the
week sinnology who joined us on the 10th August. Welcome, it's good to see you.
We wish all our new community members every success and enjoyment with
your poker and look forward to seeing you active in the forums soon.
Don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have and/or share your
poker experiences, our members are really keen to help fellow
poker players whenever and wherever they can.
Performance of the Week
I'm still currently sifting through the "Million in a year" thread (yes all 50 pages worth!) collating all the results and a summary will follow soon. I am however pleased to be able to confirm that as a community we managed to achieve $624,397.42 tournament winnings over the last 12 months. Wow, many congratulations to you all, a tremendous result.
So we've just started the new challenge and this year we're out to achieve great things once again. We're already off to a great start with some excellent performances.
Congratulations to all our winners/other performances this week, which included:
- beat over 7,000 players to win a PokerStars tournament cashing over $800 from a $1 stake, ship it;
- cubbybri final tabled a freeroll picking up $142.50, very nice;
- pondlife78 won back to back 180 player sng's;
- amplifyd more than quadrupled their tournament stake in winnings;
- knocked out a Full Tilt pro on his way to a large tournament cash;
- adeiush has been grinding the multi-table sng's achieving multiple wins and final tables.
