New SNG articles

You have waited for a long time but finally they are finished. Today we are publishing three new SNG articles. Further articles will follow soon.

Today three out of nine new SNG articles are published. Articles 4-6 will be published next week and articles 7-9 the week after. These are the first articles:

» Article 1: How do you play a tournament?

"You are hearing the sound of chips clattering
against one another. The excitement surrounds you. You glance at your
cards and then you take a look at your opponent. It's our turn. What's the best move now...?

A tournament is fun. It comes with action, excitement and diversity.
And it brings profit for those who know how to play. You are watching
the professionals on TV and think: Wow, I'd like to know how to do this
as well. You can master it, too. You will learn everything what's
necessary about the Sit and Go tournaments in our beginners section and
can soon enter the fray of tournaments successfully and well prepared...."

» Article 2: How your position has an effect on the strength of your cards

"If you have thought until now, that the strength of your hand depends
only on the cards you are holding, you are wrong. It also depends where
you seat is, thus on how many opponents still to act behind you. This
is called position. You will learn in this article what the position is
and how you can determine it."

» Article 3: How to follow your path: the bankroll management

"Some people can't handle money. As soon as they got some, it is already
gone. Their bank account is chronically overdrawn. This is ok as long
as the monthly salary is paid and no extraordinary costs arise. If the
salary is cancelled or high costs arise the person is in trouble.
Bankruptcy is close.

There is no difference in poker. Your bankroll, this is your household
budget for poker. If it is empty, it is empty and the game is over. You
never want to be tempted to lose all your money. You need reserves.
Things aren't always looking up in poker. Sometimes it hits you and you
lose one tournament after the other. Your poker budget needs to be able
to handle that."
