PokerStrategists at the Sunday Million and Sunday 125k

With Battle of the Donkeys taking a short break between seasons, we had some of our English Community members participating in PokerStars' Sunday Million and Sunday 125k. Read on to see the results.

The Battle of the Donkey Season 2 has just finished, with Team SoyCD winning the grand prize. The BotD took a short break between seasons, and the players who split the $490 prize pot participated in two important PokerStars tournaments: the Sunday Million and the Sunday 125k.

It was previously posted here that Team SoyCD finished the second season of Battle of the Donkey in first place, while the Mod Squad took the second place for which the best placed team members received tickets to the two tournaments. In this news post it was announced that the Sunday tournaments would also have live radio coverage, courtesy of Cardbender, Erptech and SoyCD.

As for the players, here is what they received for their efforts in the BotD:

At the end of the day, Hlynkinn (whose blog you can read here) was the one with the most success - as he finished ITM in the PokerStars Sunday Million. For his 712th place finish he collected $452.94; which was a more than welcome boost to his bankroll. A special mention also goes to 1seednoir1, who also managed to place ITM, but this time in the Daily Thirty Grand: he finished the tournament in 46th place, earning $92.45 for this.
