Welcome to the news round-up for the English Community (#2). Each week, EagleStar88 will keep you in touch with some of the most important threads within the forum together with some of the fun posts, so that you never need to miss them.
Our Community Round-up is your weekly source for all that happens inside the PokerStrategy forums. If you missed something last week and you still want to be in touch with our community, here are some of the most important posts. This is just one of many community-related projects being set up.
The threads within this sub-forum provide the following:
- Roadmap - indicating number of issues resolved or still being investigated,
- Individual status threads for each outstanding issue,
- A bug tracking related feedback thread.
- NL2 & NL5 tables have been added, 6.7% rake, max rake $2.00;
- FL10 & FL20 table have been added, 5.0% rake, max rake $3.00;
- Similar additions for Omaha variants;
- Reduced rake on NL10 to bring in line with NL2 & NL5 above.

Amirapuato's Blog (FL 1/2 SH)
The detail, the honesty, the sample hands and the humour that Amirapuato displays is simply refreshing to see and they are not only providing themselves with a very detailed and structured plan, but are also helping fellow community members who are maybe going through similar experiences.
As well as grinding out the Fixed Limits, Amirapuato has shown all around quality by securing a very impressive 87th place (from 6,768 entries) in last weeks Battle of the Donkeys, the best of the English Community. Congrats & good luck in this week's battle.
Unfortunately, Amirapuato is currently going through a bit of a downturn (like many of us, sigh), but the whole community knows that they have the skill, dedication & mental toughness required to see it through and to turn things around. We're all behind you Amirapuato, good luck, looking forward to reading about the upturn.

Our Community amassed winnings of $3,637.00 this week.
Congratulations to all of our winners, which included:
- meridius won a $10 Deepstack tournament on Pokerstars, an agreed deal heads up netted them $1,909, nice one,
- Alverine who managed to reach the money in a freeroll for the first time and then proved it wasn't a fluke by doing it twice more! Well played Alverine, good stuff,
- awne also cashed in a tournament for the first time. Congrats, first of many we're sure,
- multiple cashes from amongst others 1seednoir1 & Cagey75.
- everyone involved in the first BOTD event last Sunday, in particular Amirapuato for getting so deep in the money.
Sorry, we can't name everyone each week, but we'll try to pick up a few each time. Keep posting those wins in this thread, we've got to reach our $1,000,000 target and are currently up at $312,743.50.
