Range Cam - all hands revealed

Our coaches W34z3l and Somnius review a typical BU vs BB situation and not only review concrete hands but all ranges that they have in play.

Together with two of our coaches we took a new approach to thinking about hand ranges. We let them play a virtual hand with the Button ranges for w34z3l and the Big Blind ranges for  Somnius against each other. Only after the hand was played out we gave all the ranges and decisions to w34z3l, who reviews the game. Did someone make big mistake in constructing their ranges?

It's not just about reviewing your opponent's range, it's about reviewing your own range from your opponent's perspective too. When you look at your hands this way, you can start to ask deeper questions like:

• Is your gameplan vulnerable to check-raises?
• Do you give your opponent autoprofit on certain boards?
• Are your thin value bets unprofitable vs your opponent's range?
