gramond: Database Analysis is a fast way of getting a list of areas in your strategy where you are losing money. It suits any game level and those who are working on improving their game.
PokerStrategy.com: How is this report created? Is it mostly automated, or is there a person on the other end analysing the data?
gramond: In order to get a report, you just have to send the hands in any way you prefer and a report on your game will be generated and sent to you within 24 hours. The report is generated automatically as a result of the operation of 7500 filters. They analyse “all” flop, turn, river and the same in three-bet pots.
PokerStrategy.com: What playing levels does this analysis work for?
gramond: I designed this method of analysis after I realised that a detailed search for my leaks is a tedious task and waste of my precious time. At the same time, the point search for my mistakes was only in the areas where I felt I did not play well, and not in the places with the more serious mistakes.

In addition, the report includes data on how much your bb/hand profit differs from the mean value in your limit, which significantly simplifies the analysis of your actions that have to do with increased folds and raises.
Thanks to how much the profit differs from the mean value, it is much easier to establish your priorities when working on your mistakes; hence, you can begin to improve your most critical mistakes.
PokerStrategy.com: What are the common areas of error you find in players games?
gramond: It’s hard to name any specific recurrent mistakes in a game, because there are no two same reports and everyone is different. To mention something most frequent it’s when the players express excessive aggression during flop and river or call lighter than needed in some lines (for example, they call donks or raises).

gramond: The analysis of a player takes around 8-10 hours, depending on the size of the table. Then report is generated and sent to the player via Skype or e-mail.
PokerStrategy.com: What about the counter argument that if a player did these things manually, they would learn a lot more by going through the tough process of gathering the data themselves?
gramond: The manual search for mistakes takes up a very long time and is a routine task: data analysis and collation, comparison of indicators, how optimal is one line of the game or the other.
The analysis that I am proposing allows you to save a huge amount of time, take a good look at your game as a whole, understand where your flaws are, and focus on your most significant mistakes, hence speeding up your process of education and the perfection of your strategy.
