Strategy Round-up: Jonathan Little Descends to Silver-ranks
If you ever wanted to watch Jonathan Little's videos but never had the rank for it - now you can check out his latest video, as it only requires Silver rank or higher. Besides this special treat, we have also released multiple other videos as well as an interesting quiz to test your NL skills.
We have added quite a few videos for Silver-ranked members this week. Perhaps the most interesting one is jonathanlittle's video on how to multitable. In the early phase of our poker career, we are usually the ones with
initiative when we get to the flop. At that stage, pre-flop play is
easy and comprehensive, compactly reduced to a simple chart, meaning we
would usually either raise, or fold.
However, things get more complex after the flop, though; your hand transforms
from a simple 2-card combination into a post-flop hand taking into
account at least 5 cards. This week's quiz will test your ability to classify your hand and how you should play it depending on the cards on the board.
Do you need to protect? Do you have the odds to call? Do you need fold equity? How do you perform against the opponent's range? It's only after these considerations that you are finally able to pick the correct line of action with the most profitable expectations.
