Video Discussion - Is Trash Talking a Strategy?

Trash Talk Strategy

Discuss the Video

Some people use their trash talk as a strategy to tilt their opponents, others just enjoy winding up Phil Hellmuth. Tony G's trademark banter is almost certainly done to provoke bad plays and we've seen it work many a time.

But what do you think of this hand? Do Hellmuth, Tony G and Doyle all make dodgy plays? How bad is Tony G's pre-flop call?

Do you trash talk at the tables or abuse the chatbox? Do you think this gets you paid off in spots where you may not have otherwise. Does it tilt you when others give you verbal grief?

Talk about the hand, trash talk, tilt and more right here.

Last week's video discussion: Isildur1 Spewy or Special?

Last week we watched Viktor Isildur1 Blom raise to 3,000 with K2 pre-flop and end up all-in for 231,000 on an AA3 flop at the 2009 WSOPE Main Event. The play and Isildur1 himself split opinions.

Take a look at the discussion here.
