WSOP Hand Review: Did Chino get nitrolled by Bilokur?
We look at a hand from Alex Bilokur's WSOP win this year and ask if he slowrolled David 'Chino' Rheem on his way to the title? Let us know what you think.
Another hand from the 2014 WSOP and this time we look at a fun hand from Alex Bilokur's bracelet win in the $10,000 Pot Limit Hold'em Championship event.
Bilokur is a very experienced pro with $3 million in earnings going into this event, and has played several times before with WPT champion David 'Chino' Rheem.
Rheem has a very loose image (As always).
The question today is a simple one. Given Chino's image and the nice price he is laying for Bilokur to make a call, did Bilokur nitroll him by taking so long to call, or was it genuinely a tough decision?

With that said I don't think it's that bad of a nitroll, I agree he's probably never folding but I think it is fine for him to take his time and think about a big river decision at a final table. |
IMO this is not a close decision even though a lot of Chino's check-back range on the flop will be some Ax hands. They both have lots of history and Chino has a very loose image which is why I don't think you can ever fold here. Plus, there is a good chance Chino might be value betting a worse King.

The announcers say something interesting about how it's such an absurd spot for Chino to bluff because of the recent dynamic between the two and Chino having an insane image. If Bilokur respects Chino's game he should think Chino is less likely to make such an insane bluff when Chino has been caught playing crazy a bunch recently. Bilokur in my opinion is considering folding for these reasons but will probably never end up actually folding it when he can still beat a value hand, albeit maybe only one. |
I think it's a bit of nitroll because he's really never going to fold and also his hand isn't big enough to raise for value. What do you think?
