Weekly Vote: Who is Best for TV?
As poker hit the mainstream harder than ever in 2010, we saw an influx of televised poker bringing more big names to your nearest screen. Some players brought entertainment and a certain pizzaz to the tables, some were duller than dishwater. Who do you like to watch? Let us know in our last weekly vote of 2010.
Pokerstars' The Big Game and Million Dollar Challenge, GSN's Doubles Poker, Full Tilt's Face the Ace and Card Player TV's Under the Gun are just a handful of new poker shows that graced our screens in 2010.
Joining the ranks of firm favourites such as Poker After Dark, High Stakes Poker and WSOP coverage, this increased proliferation of televised poker repeatedly threw up some very familiar faces.
The players to watch
Some players excited, entertained and captivated their poker-loving audience while others kept schtum, nitted it out and bored us to death. We want to know who kept you watching.
Perhaps it's a certain player's creative, aggressive play and table presence that captivates you. Maybe a tendency to spout endless drivel, odball antics or good speech-play gets you tuning in. Alternatively you might just enjoy a good old verbal dust-up and you like watching players who have a penchant for tilting and tantrums.
