League of Champions: League Phase With 18 Community Freerolls about to start
With the conclusion of the qualification and community voting phase of the PokerStrategy.com League of Champions, we are now ready to move on to the league phase. This phase features 18 tournaments and 18 accompanying community freerolls.
The 35 community champions who have recently been revealed will now be moving on to the league phase of the PokerStrategy.com League of Champions. This phase start on September 15 and will consist of 18 tournaments that will be played thrice weekly until October 24.
Top 5 proceed to playoffs
When participating in these league phase tournaments, the champions will be looking to earn points by finishing in the top of each tournament. A win is worth 15 points, second place 12 points, 3rd place 10 points and so on. The final 3 tournaments also each have $2,000 prize pools as an added incentive.
The points are then tallied at the end of the 18 tournaments and the five champions who have the highest point totals will then move on to the playoff phase that consists of several heads-up matches.

Besides these 18 tournaments that are for the champions, each tournament date will also consists a $500 freeroll that is open to all PokerStrategy.com members. These freerolls will start at 17:00 GMT or exactly 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the league phase tournaments.
