The latest MicroMillions came to a conclusion last night after the final flurry of tournaments dished out a slew of five-figure scores to a selection of small stakes grinders.
On top of the $22 Main Event which was taken down by the UK's 'RainmanRJA', the likes of 'Iaissberg' (Sunday Storm - $34,211), 'any2push' (Event #94 - $19,021) and 'king2173' (Event #100 - $7,645) all earned themselves a MicroMillions gold medal.
Following the conclusion of the final MicroMillions event, the Player of the Series title was handed to Russia's 'Bobrovaflya'.
After racking up 505 points over the course of the ten-day series, the dedicated grinder managed to finish well clear of Thailand's 'Deegie' (420 points) and 'hel10s' (410 points) to scoop six months' worth of Sunday Millions tickets.
Moorman's proposal
Chris Moorman has won more money in online tournaments than anyone else and in the last few days he's also managed to win the affections of his girlfriend Katie Lindsay.
After dating Katie for a number of years, Chris eventually popped the question last week and after being given a brief sweat the queen of his heart said yes.
Soon after the acceptance Chris made the news public, writing:
"I've had so many great times in my life, but today when my surprise proposal to my girlfriend and best friend in the world was accepted and went perfectly to plan was by far and away the best of them all."

Jaffee going for Jacksonville double

The recent slew of WPT events continued last week with the start of the Jacksonville bestbet Open.
Pitched with a buy-in of $3,500 and featuring some of the world's top players, the latest WPT Main Event welcomed 258 players and after two days of action just 19 remain.
Among the survivors and still in line for a shot at the $206,041 in tomorrow's finale is Jason Mercier, Faraz Jaka or the overall chips leader Jared Jaffee.
On top of holding the largest stack in the room, Jaffee has already won a WPT title in Jacksonville this season after he took the top prize in the Fall Poker Scramble back in November 2013.
However, Jaffee won't have things his own way and if he's going to do the double in Jacksonville he'll need to make it to tomorrow's final table without falling victim to the advances of the aforementioned Mercier and Jaka.

Sunday's high stakes action saw Daniel 
Junglemandan Cates hit an upswing and Gus Hansen suffer another large downswing. While Cates was able to secure a $384,768 profit and top the daily leaderboard ahead of 'MalACEsia' and Viktor Blom, Gus found himself on the end of another six-figure loss.
After playing 1,291 hands the Dane not only topped the latest loss leaderboard but saw a $491,648 dent left in his ailing bankroll. Also falling victim to negative variance in the last 24 hours was 'samrostan' and Petter 'NorthugJr' Northug.
