PokerStars are hosting a live high stakes Omaha cash game on a cruise from Helsinki to St. Petersburg, where a collection of famous Scandinavian poker pros - including PokerStrategy.com coach 
Among those competing with our coach, who plays as "Jeans89" on PokerStars, will be Ilari Sahamies, Juha Helppi, PokerStars Pro Ville Wahlbeck, Sami "LrzLsk" Kelopuro and Theo Jorgensen. The main attraction will be the aforementioned high stakes cash game, though tournaments will also play out throughout the cruise.

William Hill join forces with England Football Association
William Hill has announced a partnership with the English Football Association, which will see them sponsor the England national football team as well as becoming the Official Supporter and Official Betting Partner of the FA Cup.
This deal will see William Hill sponsoring and supporting the FA and England football team until 2014.

PokerStars Malta
More good news for European players comes today as PokerStars have announced that they have acquired a Malta Remote Gaming License. This is of particular benefit to players in certain areas, such as Finland and Sweden, that require sites to have a gaming license within the EU. You can read more about this at PokerStars Blog.
Put your money where your Mouth is
Mike Matusow took to Twitter last week to publicly state that he does not owe Full Tilt Poker any money, saying "why my name is mentioned I don't know". However, this contradicts a statement given to PokerStrategy.com by Groupe Bernard Tapie lawyer Behn Dayanim.
Now, it is alleged that Matusow actually owes approximately $700,000 to Full Tilt Poker and "has not responded... to attempts to reach him to discuss the matter."

High stakes corner
Ilari Sahamies and Viktor Blom, better known at the virtual felt as Ilari_FIN and Isildur1, have been the stars of the show in the online Omaha high stakes games recently. We reported Isildur1's swings yesterday and they continued, with Blom dropping almost $200,000 to Sahamies according to HSDB.
The Artist Formerly Known As Ziigmund made up for his previous losses with a wild session against Blom that saw him take $193,000 in just over 1,000 hands. Blom didn't end the day a loser, though, having won a significant sum from Berndsen12 earlier in his session. It was Berndsen12 who lost the most on the day, dropping $201,000.
