Dublin Takes The European Poker Capital Title
This is the second year in a row that Dublin has won the title of European Poker Capital, topping cities such as London and Vienna mostly thanks to its unsurpassed enthusiasm for the game.
Dublin (Ireland) has won the title of this year's European Poker Capital according to a vote conducted by Bluff Europe Magazine, thus repeating its success from the last year.
Once again it was London (UK) to take the second place, despite being praised for its tournaments, venues and growth of the pub poker in the city over the past two years.
Other notable runner-ups were also praised for their efforts, such as Vienna (Austria), Tallinn (Estonia) and Galway (Ireland).
Unparalleled Enthusiasm For The Game
Thanks to the unsurpassed enthusiasm for the game, player-friendly tournament structures and the variety of good card clubs in the city, Dublin has taken the throne yet again. Dublin is also the home to the oldest poker tournament in
Europe, the Irish Open.

To determine this year's European Poker Capital, Bluff Europe Magazine took into account factors such as reward variety, value, enthusiasm and "action", at the same time excluding countries in which government gambling monopolies strangle the game, but also places where the rakes in cash games are exploitative to the player.
