EPT Paris to return in 2026

After a last-minute cancellation in 2025, the third European Poker Tour Paris will take place in February next year.

PokerStars has announced its first major live stops of 2026, with the return of EPT Paris. 

You may recall that the event was cancelled less than two months before it was set to go ahead, in February of this year. This was due to changes in gambling regulations in France, but the event was expected to continue again, perhaps later this year. 

The relatively new event had two previous outings; in 2023 it was won by online qualifier Razvan Belea for €1,170,000, and last year, it was taken down by poker legend Barny Boatman for €1,287,800. In what was one of the feelgood stories of the poker year, Boatman got sponsorship with PokerStars afterwards. 

Two EPT stops confirmed so far

The tournament now returns from February 18, 2026, and is the second EPT stop confirmed for next year alongside EPT Monte Carlo. The rumours are that we won't see EPT Prague next year, but we will see the PokerStars Open Campione, the Irish Open and the PokerStars Open Namur, in 2026.
